Recently the colour pink has become quite popular and everyone has a slightly different interpretation of the colour. For me, the colour pink 🩷 represents Berlin & freedom but also: 🌸 inclusivity, 🌸 authenticity, 🌸 disruption. I wanted these values to be reflected in the branding of Find Your Wine Match as well. Last Tuesday, I had the pleasure of taking to the stage at the annual 3d printing ‘Women in AM’ summit and sharing my story of how it came to be that I founded Find Your Wine Match, my transition from working in multinational corporations to being a founder, what it’s like to work in the wine industry and why women empowerment is so important to me and is such a big part of the concept. I also had the pleasure of running an ice breaking event for these wonderful women, with wines from Find Your Wine Match and a social game with a focus on networking. At the end of the day, all industries are similar and supporting each other and telling your story can inspire other women to make a difference and whatever change they want. It was a great experience. My vision is for Find Your Wine Match to be a safe space, your perfect match maker and through inclusive socialising to help people communicate more easily. My interaction with Mrs. Deepa Deshpande felt akin to a mentorship session, with myself as the mentee, eagerly absorbing wisdom from a woman who has thrived in her pursuits. Reflecting on our conversation, these are the invaluable lessons: 1. 🔩 Discipline Breeds Accuracy: Mrs. Deshpande emphasized that achieving accuracy in any endeavor stems from disciplined work habits.
