Why are you on LinkedIn? If I’m being honest …there are some days where I don’t know why. 1. I’ve curated my feed well enough to mostly see good humans posting good things - things that get me chortling and thinking. (Sure the occasional wanky (to me) post appears but I just scroll on cos I don’t need another scale your offer and 10x your life formula. Nor do income brags move me) 2. Most, if not all my clients come from word of mouth or Facebook, and being a linkedinfluencer is not a dream I have for this life time 3. I don’t need more work to fill my self-worth bucket. It’s already full and nothing I do or don’t do will change it But when I get over myself and stop thinking about the time I spend on carousels, content creation and the like… I remember: I’m here to share. Share some LOLs, factoids and advice that younger me desperately needed as an anxious and often-times depressed human. Sometimes I wish I’d found nervous system regulation and somatic experiencing much earlier, but deep down I believe I was and am exactly where I’m supposed to be. So… why are you on LinkedIn? PS. There’s no shame in saying you’re on here to get a better job, more clients, more business. Clarity helps steer action.

If you need to earn xyz or achieve abc in order to get the external validation you need to feel good about yourself… Lemme save you the trouble. Even if you achieved all of that AND more, it won’t give you what you need to fill that insatiable hole of unworthiness. You’ve been duped by your family, community, society at large into thinking your worthiness is contingent on being financially productive. It’s BS. The sooner you wake up to this fact, the less you’ll have to strive for something that isn’t even real. #NetWorthIsNotSelfWorth

Stop fighting yourself and start channeling all your “crazy” into pure power. - Becoming Unf*ckwithable: Develop a core so strong, you could walk through a sh*tstorm and come out dry. It became clear to me by day 2 that I had to collaborate with Danila, my ex-personal yoga trainer who ran the retreat. Danila can take care of cultivating inner safety through her powerful yoga flows and I would do the same using nervous system regulating somatic practices and hypnosis. A match made in inner safety heaven! Over the course of 4 days, our bodies were challenged, stretched and contorted in ways that was desperately needed. But what I loved most about this experience was the women I met. A diverse group of women with different life experiences who had so many things in common. One of them being the desire to break free from societal expectations and embrace their authentic selves. We shared stories of struggle, triumph, and everything in between. And after 9 yoga classes, 4 sauna sessions and a hike through the forest, we emerged stronger, more connected, and ready to take on the world. This experience reminded me why I do what I do: empowering people to embrace their true selves, giving them tools to be the healing gift that keeps on giving. And I’m so looking forward to building a bigger community of humans who support each other in being unapologetically themselves. Are you ready to live in coherence with your values? Hot Girl Summer, anyone? No, thanks. But if Hot Social Summer is more up your street, lemme know. I’m closing my coaching practice for 6 weeks as we summer in warmer European cities. But that doesn’t mean I’m going off-grid (Ganesha forbid!). So I’m opening my calendar for 10 short-ish chai chats which are 100% about getting to know you and having a chortle. I recently had an icky experience with another coach on a “connection call” which made me almost bin the idea of Hot Social Summer. But I’m determined to give connection calls a good name, so here I am. PS The person who tried to pitch me right at the end of the call? Blocked :) 

Attention ambitious entrepreneurs chasing those five-figure months: Science has a radical suggestion for getting better at things that doesn't involve leaning in so far you fall over. There's this thing called "myelin" that insulates your brain's wiring, making signals zip around faster and more efficiently. It helps you learn and do stuff better. Groundbreaking, I know – your brain doesn't care about your personal brand. Ways to boost your myelin and potentially get good at things faster, without sacrificing your last shred of sanity: – Sleep. Yes, even if your "success guru" says rest is for the weak – Eat real food. Your brain needs more than caffeine and empowerment quotes – Move your body.  Preferably further than the distance between your bed and your home office (aka kitchen table) – Talk to people who won't ask about your sales funnel. Apparently, they exist – Try a hobby that doesn't have a monetisation strategy. The audacity, I know – Take a deep breath every now and again without turning it into a "mindfulness exercise." Crazy concept: existing without optimising every second Who knew? All this time we could have been enhancing our brain's efficiency by *checks notes* having a semblance of a balanced life. But sure, keep hustling 24/7 and calling it "passion." Your myelin is very impressed. Disclaimer: Side effects may include getting better at stuff faster, improved brain power, and the terrifying realisation that your worth isn't determined by your productivity. Imagine that. 😂

Building the muscles to get out of your head and into the Now is well and truly good. I can’t think of a cheaper and greater “hack” to doing what you’re truly meant to be doing than that. I’d like to think my clients value my support as much as they do my goodies, but I don’t know… my vouchers and certificates of creative-as-f*ckery are pretty slay. #slaebae
