How do you find joy and fulfillment in your career?
The idea that our #careers should not only provide security and certain freedoms but also bring us genuine satisfaction is high on our values. Everyone probably has experienced the "Sunday Blues", where we dread the upcoming work week. Unfortunately, this kind of feeling underscores the impact that our professional lives can have on our overall well-being.
🧐 The question is, what motivates you, so that personal fulfillment in a career goes beyond financial security?
It involves identifying and pursuing work that aligns with one's values, interests, and passions. When individuals are driven by intrinsic motivations—such as a sense of purpose, personal growth, or a genuine love for what they do—their careers are more likely to be not only successful but also personally fulfilling.
Think about your #motivation. This might involve self-reflection, understanding one's #values, #purpose, and #priorities, and aligning them with career choices. It also involves being open to change and actively seeking opportunities that bring joy and fulfillment.
Could it be, that
- Autonomy -> the desire to direct my own life
- Mastery -> the desire to get better at things
- Purpose -> the desire and intention that I can make a difference
are driving factors that motivate us to go to work every day? My guess is, you will have some additional driving factors.
What are your #motivators?
