Exciting news! I had the honor of being featured in Business Insider latest article, which delves deep into the discussion of Provoke Insights's research study on consumer spending and the perceptions of dynamic pricing. In the current inflationary environment, retailers consider dynamic pricing a potential solution to boost revenues. However, with consumers feeling the pinch of inflation, they are becoming increasingly budget-conscious. The addition of dynamic pricing by traditional retailers could further frustrate consumers. Thank you Emily Stewart for the great write up! I would love to hear your thoughts on this important topic - how do you think consumers will respond to dynamic pricing amidst already challenging financial circumstances? Retailers engage in dynamic pricing at the risk of losing the trust of their most loyal consumers.
Always a matter of profits over people.
So proud!
In my case I only buy what is absolutely necessary anymore. I am not sure who all the spenders are but most people I know are not buying much. We over spent and have to much and now we wear what we have and stay home.
great article! I agree that dynamic pricing is a double-edged sword. On one hand, it allows retailers to optimize revenue and manage inventory more effectively. On the other hand, it could alienate consumers who are already struggling with higher prices and tight budgets.
Great article Carly! Dynamic strategies are becoming crucial to marketers. Leveraging real-time data and consume behavior insights is key. Looking forward to what you have to say about the topic in the future!

2wI love this topic. My local gas station, a national brand, seems to update a gallon’s price at least daily. And don’t get me started on eggs.
