I’m one of those people! Especially loving the industry, I prefer to order direct whenever possible. But I also love the convenience of delivery, and even with markups on marketplaces it’s almost always significantly cheaper to order through them if you belong to a program like DashPass through a credit card. If it’s just a dollar or two, no big deal, but often times it’s way more. We have to figure out ways to make first party delivery more economical for restaurants and guests alike so they can compete.
