Thinking of how you can make the most of "Random Acts of Kindness Day" today? Take a moment to help those experiencing homelessness: donate to organizations like PCCI who are helping find housing for those in need, or if you have an extra blanket or warm socks to give, those are always appreciated. https://bit.ly/3Uc69f7 Tips to Help from Atlanta Mission: https://bit.ly/3vObDmp

Streamlining Your Workplace Supplies: Workwear & PPE, Furniture, Janitorial, Office Products and Bespoke Print
Personal post alert... and it is a bit hard hitting ❓ Did you know that the average age of death for people experiencing homelessness is 46 for men and 42 for women... ❔ Homeless people are over nine times more likely to take their own life than the general population. ❓ People sleeping on the street are almost 17 times more likely to have been victims of violence. More than one in three people sleeping rough have been deliberately hit or kicked or experienced some other form of violence whilst homeless. People have even been set on FIRE. ❔ The statistics show that one third of care leavers become homeless in the first two years immediately after they leave care and 25% of homeless people have been in care at some point in their lives. I am not only a care leaver, but have personally been homeless and at risk of homelessness many times in my younger years – so raising money for this great cause is also somewhat personal. All donations are so very much appreciated, and I am looking forward to seeing just how much I (we) can raise this year! 🙏

One night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference. Every night, thousands of Australians experience homelessness. But it doesn't have to be that way. Our Managing Director Phil Allison is helping to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support Australians in need. For one night, he'll be sleeping outside as part of an eye-opening experience to raise awareness and bring home the realities of homelessness. To help break the devastating cycle of homelessness, your donation can really help. Will you help Phil reach his target? Donating can make a huge difference to people who need it most. https://buff.ly/3TJ8AVV #CEOSleepout

The Prime Legacy of Global Powerhouse | Dan Murphy's | Gregory Anderson—The Empowering Influence of Empathy and Kindness in Corporate Social Responsibility: Inspiring Global Change for the Homeless In a world where profit margins are often prioritized over compassion, an individual has emerged as a beacon of hope for the homeless population through an universal commitment to kindness and empathy. Dan Murphy, a visionary leader in the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR), has not only successfully raised funds to support the homeless but has also initiated a global movement of goodwill and social transformation. The intersection of CSR, ethical leadership, and societal impact has never been more crucial than in today's increasingly interconnected world. Murphy's actions serve as a poignant reminder of the transformative power that businesses possess in shaping a more equitable and inclusive society. By extending a helping hand to those in need, he has not only alleviated the suffering of the homeless but has also sparked a ripple effect of generosity and compassion that transcends borders and cultures. At the core of Dan Murphy's endeavors lies a deep-seated belief in the ethical foundation of CSR – a belief that businesses have a moral obligation to make positive contributions to society and uplift those who are marginalized and vulnerable. Through his strategic framework for ethical leadership, a new standard for corporate philanthropy has been established by Dan Murphy, one that prioritizes empathy, kindness, and authentic human connection above all else. As we navigate the complexities of a rapidly changing world, Dan Murphy's example serves as a guiding light for both businesses and individuals. His actions remind us that true leadership is not solely measured by profits but by the impact we have on the lives of others and the legacy of compassion we leave behind. In an era characterized by uncertainty and division, let us draw inspiration from Dan Murphy's remarkable journey and commit ourselves to creating a world where kindness and empathy are paramount. Together, we can forge a future where every individual – regardless of their circumstances – is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. Let’s unite and embark on a collective journey towards a more just, inclusive, and compassionate world – a world where the homeless are not forgotten but embraced with open hearts and outstretched hands. Together, a difference can be made. Together, a brighter future for all can be created. Join in the movement for change. Together, the world can be transformed, one act of kindness at a time.

Community fundraising specialist with a soft spot for events, but always passionate about making a difference and connecting fundraisers with a cause they care about.
It probably doesn’t come as a surprise that there’s a growing need for support in communities across Australia. Increasing financial pressures and a significant lack of housing are adding to emotional stresses and sadly driving more Australians into hardship and homelessness. October 10th is World Homeless Day - coinciding with Orange Sky's 9th birthday in Australia. Nine years on, Orange Sky is helping more friends than ever before - providing over 50,000 loads of laundry, 4,500 hot showers, and more than 55,000 hours of conversation to 16,000 people doing it tough across Australia so far this year. Homelessness is a complex issue, one that is not solved easily, but Orange Sky's simple and practical service - offering free laundry, warm showers and genuine connection, which we know can make a huge difference in the lives of those in need. This World Homeless Day, if you're in a position to do so, I'd love your support of The Sudsy Challenge I took on last month by donating here: https://lnkd.in/geGAnvAV
