Top vehicles sold over the 4th of July weekend, 2023, as compiled by Fullpath : 1. Ford F-150 2. Ram 1500 3. Toyota Camry 4. Jeep Grand Cherokee 5. Chevy Silverado 1500 But here’s my bet: this year will look *very* different. Here’s why… Large pickup truck sales have been on a consistent decline, driven by historically high prices. I expect to see more small pickups (Maverick, etc) and compact SUVs in this year's lineup. Data from CDG Partner: Fullpath – You can learn more about Fullpath : bit.ly/3UwCmwj #fullpathpartner
Affordability will drive the mid size suv for the coming year or more! These truck prices are out of control! 🤦🏻
Will be very interesting indeed. The camry should move up and I bet the Ram will drop out of the top 5. I agree, trucks today are extremely overpriced and are becoming unattainable for the average working class.
Car Dealership Guy Great insights! It’s fascinating to see how the market dynamics are shifting. With large pickup sales declining, it’s an opportune time for brands to innovate and capture the compact pickup and SUV segments. Excited to see how this plays out and which models will dominate this year’s July 4th sales. Kudos to Fullpath for the comprehensive data analysis!
With all due respect, they have a very small footprint and data set relative to the entire industry. I would not say this is representative of the entire U.S. market.
Top 5 bought in April were F Series, Silverado, Rav4, Model Y, & CR-V so I imagine it will look similar for 4th. Sierra/Camry were neck in neck after if you wanna discount Tesla here.
The Rav4 will make an appearance on the list. F150 and Silverado will both be there. Let see on the 5th :) 😁
never getting rid of my pre-covid 2018 F350 Crew Cab turbo diesel.

1wGood thing about full size trucks is how low their cost basis is which means that manufacturers have the ability to simply delete content and options, swap materials, etc to get to a lower price point with minimal effect on margin.
