Utilizing technology and a proven compliance roadmap to assist businesses in navigating OSHA and EPA laws and regulations.
Keeping track of your action items and opportunities for improvement can get overwhelming quickly, especially with multiple facilities or clients. I use a software tool to help me keep track of actions that have been assigned to myself and also use it to keep others assigned to actions held accountable. This ensures actions are tracked from cradle to grave. #safety #osha #smallbusiness #tech

How much of an EHS manager’s work is done outside of typical “EHS” software? An EHS system should not just be checkboxes and reminders. 95% or more of their work is not done in their current software system, if they have one at all. To run an effective and efficient environmental program you need a system that captures it all! Some thoughts on why environmental data needs to be part of the system and not in spreadsheets It’s what we are focusing on with Mapistry Environmental Data Platform

Planning your EHS software integration? "Your EHS software project is likely to fail. Environment and sustainability experts are in high demand and unprecedented levels of employee turnover mean that project teams lack the experience needed for successful deployment. In fact, 27% of EHS leaders pinpoint a lack of project team experience and expertise as the most prominent cause of their failed digitization projects." - Verdantix Sign up, join and deep dive into this webinar by Verdantix - Phase 0 Of EHS Software Projects - Laying The Foundations For Success https://hubs.la/Q029TlmS0 #EHS #project #verdantix #staysafe #software

Why Companies Replace their EHS&S Software Systems We know replacing your EHS data management system isn't an easy one, given the time, cost and change management that software implementations require. But why wait till the burden of maintaining an existing system outweigh the benefits of starting fresh? Here's some advice that we've gathered from our EHS peers: 1. Don't look to save money, you're likely to pay for it later. 2. Focus on functionality and ease of use for users. Ask your team members to be part of the selection and evaluation process 3. Evaluate it as a business case. Is the software inexpensive? How come? How many numbers of clicks does a user need to perform basic functions? Some organizations say they've lost more money in transactional inefficiency than they save in the initial purchase. 4. Establish and map out processes prior to creating system requirements. This makes sure the system matches how you perform your jobs, rather than forcing users to adapt their processes to the system. 5. Look for a software that is flexible and a company that is willing to make modifications (psst…that's Cority!) There is no software out there that will provide you with the perfect solution to your individual needs, so partnering with a company that is well established, in it for the long haul and willing to work with you to provide the solutions you are looking for is key.
