As April concluded, we held our first annual Bridging Hope event. Together, we stand with survivors. For many in our community, the journey from fear to safety is a bridge built on compassion and support. With the support of our community, we construct these bridges ensuring no one walks alone. Thank you to all in attendance, and all others who support.

As a #Brisbane office, we are not one to shy away from a challenge and a great cause, especially a challenge that involves a fitness/physical aspect. But for the month of August, I would like to support a fellow colleague Shayne McCorkelle as well at the Children's Hospital Foundation. For the month of August, 42k Your Way, has again set the 42km challenge, where you can complete 42km in a month your own way: walk, run or roll: on your own or with a team of friends or colleagues. Children's Hospital Foundation funds cutting-edge equipment, vital research and on the ground support for kids with all illnesses, injuries and conditions. They identify the action gaps in funding and support right across the kids; health landscape – the places left lacking but no less serving. The funds raised by taking part or just by donating will be used to support children like Zoey. Every dollar you raise through taking part in 42k Your Way can be the difference every kid deserves. #ChildrensHospitalFoundation #fundraise #support #team #teammembers #cause #change #research #action #future
🏃🏼♀️ Join Me in the 42k Your Way for the Children's Hospital Foundation! 🏥 This year, I am thrilled to be participating in the 42k Your Way event to raise funds for the Children's Hospital Foundation. As many of you know, my daughter Zoey has been on a crazy journey since birth in 2020, requiring multiple surgeries for her Cleft Palate and related medical attention. Her resilience and strength continue to amaze us every day. The Queensland Childrens Hospital, along with the support from the Children's Hospital Foundation, has been an absolute lifeline during these times. We are forever grateful for the exceptional care and love they have shown not only to Zoey but also to all the brave children who walk through their doors. Now, I'm reaching out to all of you with a plea for help. Together, we can make a difference for countless sick and injured kids who need our support. Every dollar raised will contribute to vital research, enable the acquisition of new equipment, and help provide entertainment and emotional support for children and their families while they are in the hospital. If you would like to donate, please click on the link below to contribute and be a part of this incredible journey with us.

Learn about Online Memorials, a trend that’s here to stay. Learn about the change that COVID created. When someone passes away and we want to memorialize that person. However, many folks have moved away. Kids, grandkids, old friends and colleagues. The average funeral has travel expenses, the funeral may only be a few days away. Some folks can't make that trip because of age, expenses or both! Learn about--- The Memorial Website, the Head Stone of the Future. The donation portal, a guest book, registration Learn about sharing stories, from an old friend from High School, or College, someone they haven’t seen in years. Learn how you can preserve a Service for years!! An Online Memorial---A Life Long Memory!! Willowise was founded by Brock and Esther Sheets. Brock’s dad, David, passed away unexpectedly due to Covid in early 2021. As the Sheets family was processing through this sudden loss, we decided a virtual memorial service was going to be the most effective way to honor David’s life and legacy. Having lived & served as a pastor in 11 different churches across 5 states, David’s “community” was spread out across the entire US. Travel to a single memorial service location simply wasn’t possible for all who loved David and called him friend. Brock has spent 9+ years marketing, guiding the website design, producing webinars, hosting virtual meetings, and delivering virtual education for a professional defense association in Washington, DC. Esther has a gift of empathy and caring that is unmatched. She is able to uniquely connect with families & care for them in their grief. This combined experience was perfectly suited to create a beautiful tribute website and a moving memorial service for David with over 500 people in attendance. Since then, Willowise has gone on to help thousands of satisfied people in their own seasons of loss. We combine user-friendly technology platforms, professional project management, and unmatched empathy to create a powerful and moving memorial experience for you and your loved-ones.
