As a #Brisbane office, we are not one to shy away from a challenge and a great cause, especially a challenge that involves a fitness/physical aspect. But for the month of August, I would like to support a fellow colleague Shayne McCorkelle as well at the Children's Hospital Foundation. For the month of August, 42k Your Way, has again set the 42km challenge, where you can complete 42km in a month your own way: walk, run or roll: on your own or with a team of friends or colleagues.    Children's Hospital Foundation funds cutting-edge equipment, vital research and on the ground support for kids with all illnesses, injuries and conditions. They identify the action gaps in funding and support right across the kids; health landscape – the places left lacking but no less serving. The funds raised by taking part or just by donating will be used to support children like Zoey. Every dollar you raise through taking part in 42k Your Way can be the difference every kid deserves. #ChildrensHospitalFoundation #fundraise #support #team #teammembers #cause #change #research #action #future

Brock’s dad, David, passed away unexpectedly due to Covid in early 2021. As the Sheets family was processing through this sudden loss, we decided a virtual memorial service was going to be the most effective way to honor David’s life and legacy. Having lived & served as a pastor in 11 different churches across 5 states, David’s “community” was spread out across the entire US. Travel to a single memorial service location simply wasn’t possible for all who loved David and called him friend.  Brock has spent 9+ years marketing, guiding the website design, producing webinars, hosting virtual meetings, and delivering virtual education for a professional defense association in Washington, DC. Esther has a gift of empathy and caring that is unmatched. She is able to uniquely connect with families & care for them in their grief. This combined experience was perfectly suited to create a beautiful tribute website and a moving memorial service for David with over 500 people in attendance.  Since then, Willowise has gone on to help thousands of satisfied people in their own seasons of loss.
