Have always enjoyed working with and for some of the smartest women engineers. I was lucky to work at Wang laboratories where most teams had an equal amount of men and women on the teams at all levels of leadership, design and implementation. I also worked at IBM where again I worked with many excellent women engineers, I was a little disappointed at IBM. I don't think IBM was as forward looking and the teams were not as balanced as at Wang. It might have only been in the groups I worked in but in these groups there were fewer women within the software development groups. My mother wasn't an engineer but she was very smart so I always knew that a persons sex had nothing to do with there capability or intelligence and you should never underestimate anyone and treat everyone with equal respect.
