Once again our team of Partners are ready to set aside their busy schedules and devote their energies to a noble cause. On the 10th of November Caroline, Kevin, David and his wife Alix will take part in the Climb of Life to raise money for The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR). The trek will take place in the beautiful Lake District, climbing Helvellyn via the notorious Striding Edge. 🧗♂️ Our team will face not only the difficulties of unwelcoming weather conditions but also the hazardous terrain of Striding Edge and then descending Swirral Edge. This circuit is categorised as a grade 1 scramble rather than a mere walk.  The exposure is great and care is needed in the face of slippery rock and cross-winds. ⛰ But as much as this route is challenging, it is vital to remember that all of us can make a change. And this is where we can all unite and serve a bigger purpose. For more than 100 years, the ICR has been making discoveries to defeat cancer and has already made a significant impact in developing new drugs and identifying cancer genes. However, it is funded only by charities or the general public. Let’s make a change together! Donations to LLS provide vital funding to help blood cancer patients with access to treatment, resources, and research. But GivingTuesday is about more than a simple financial contribution—it’s about giving things that money can’t buy... like hope, community, comfort, and more. For example: - $100 could help fund a half-hour of LLS Information Specialists’ time providing free, one-on-one support to blood cancer patients and families.
