“Even though I went through a lot of challenges, I am happy that I opened up doors for the younger girls. I am proud to see there are a lot of women pilots doing very well now. I believe, somehow, I contributed for the girls to join air forces,” says Binti Fadzillah Abdulla, Royal Malaysian Airforce and the first female pilot in #Malaysia. However, social expectations and gender roles often become the reasons for women - including in peace and security sector - to leave their career.
