We are SOLD OUT of our first batch of Deviled WunderEggs!!! And there were questions from our customers so I was tasked with making a video. Nothing went per plan for this reel so , and the result was a what-not-to-do video. Here’s WHAT NO TO DO 😂 Deviled WunderEggs come with a sachet of ready to eat DEVILISH WUNDER mix and a beautiful red sleeve. 1. Give the sachet a shake so the contents are mixed well. 2. Find the tear notch, but don’t tear too hard or the whole sachet will open and then you can’t do a beautiful icing-kinda pattern. 3. If you do tear it all the way, then transfer to a small ziplock bag or an icing cone or one of those sauce pouring bottle. 4. Scoop out the egg whites, I usually do it from the sides. Don’t try to pop them from the back 5. Careful .. they are just slippery like real eggs. Don’t play with them.. or they will slip and FLY AWAY!!!! 6. Shake off any water on them. Don’t skip this step otherwise the eggs will keep dancing on a plate 7. Definitely don’t get lazy with your toppings.. e.g. slice your greens :) 8. Last Don’t record a video at the end of the day unless you want your family to constantly video bomb and be silly monkeys.

Happy Halloween 👻 - thought I would share this interesting BBC article on the case of Halloween Peppermint Humbug Poisoning that happened in Bradford in the year 1858, a prime example of the origins of food law in the UK and also still highlighting the real risk of food fraud to the end consumer, an interesting historic case study and read on some deadly arsenic laced Halloween sweets. Happy Haunting & Reading ! 🦇 #foodlaw #foodsafety #foodfraud #halloween23 #halloween #foodregulations #foodregulatory #regulatoryaffairs https://lnkd.in/ezU_gkUt

Copywriter, editor and author of 'Freelancer's Business Brain', 'How to Write Clearly', 'Copywriting Made Simple' and more
‘Why not round off your meal with one of our delicious desserts?’ Christ, I don’t know. Because I’m already overweight? Because I already stuffed my big fat face with some manifestly gratuitous onion rings? Because frankly, £9.95 seems like a lot for a wodge of sponge and a dollop of ice cream, no matter what picturesque rural county that ice cream may purport to be from? Should you use questions in copy? Only if the reader will mentally respond the way you want them to. And while some questions will gently lead the reader towards a sale, others are like lobbing a grenade of cognitive uncertainty into their poor addled brain. ‘Sound good?’ No, perky on-pack copy, that is mighty presumptuous of you. I will make up my mind about your product in my own sweet time, thanks. ‘What are you waiting for?’ I’m not waiting, I’m literally reading the copy that YOU WROTE and are now making me read. Once I’m done, I’ll get right to waiting – and believe me, it’ll be a LONG wait. But ‘Why not…’ is the king of them all. I know it looks like a graceful rhetorical flourish and a get out of jail free card for your otherwise unwritable ending. But while rhetorical questions may not require answers, they still demand consideration. And in my view, ‘why not’ merely invites the reader to speculate on all the reasons why they might reject your advice. You can usually drop the ‘Why not’ to form a nice forceful imperative that just TELLS the reader what to do. After all, why leave them hanging by ending with a question? Now, why not share this post with your contacts?

The Halloween peppermints that poisoned Bradford A handful of sweets is as synonymous with Halloween as a spooky costume or a ghoulish pumpkin. But on 31 October 1858, this normally harmless treat killed several children, causing panic across Bradford and a rapidly rising death toll. This is how a mix-up at a pharmacy, rooted in trying to save a few pennies on sugar, rocked Victorian Britain and changed UK laws. You know that feeling you get when you eat that first bite of ice cream. You close your eyes, the flavour is decadent, texture is divine, and you're positive that there is a God, because how else could something like Ice Cream exist? Do you ever wish you could get that feeling from a salad? In my conversation with Tanessa Shears this week, we dive into how we set ourselves up for disappointment time and time again by wishing ice cream was a salad! Check it out in the clip below - and then head over to YouTube to watch the whole thing! https://lnkd.in/e4MXggz4
