Our Campers kicked off 2024 by hitting milestones…and the slopes! In the last few months, we’ve celebrated winter holidays, enjoyed a ski trip, and competed in an inaugural ping pong tournament. We appreciate having a team that can do both!

5 fittings over 4 hours. No one previously had what would be considered a professional fitting. Result: $3K in equipment sales... in addition to the smiles and education noted below. Obviously not the first to provide a nice fitting experience in a demo day fashion. We might be the first to package the experience up the way that we do. Club in the video below (No. 4) is inside $10/sf space with a shared entry and self-installed bays that took a day to get running. Operations are member-based, running self-op 24/7 and provide members unlimited use memberships for $75/month. A very different approach, leading to very different math, opening doors to a very different opportunity. Imagine the opportunity with fittings taking place behind all types of non-traditional doors across "neighborhoods" everywhere. 🤔🤔🤔 #golf #disruption #startup #titleist #ping #taylormade #callaway
Well it wasn't self-op, but we managed to bump the club fitting experience up the priority list! No cost to members. Everyone with plenty of warm up time. Everyone left with a little education, lots of smiles, and the majority with new clubs in the works too. As we make high-end golf more convenient and affordable for everyone, we'll make ALL parts of golf more convenient and affordable for everyone. ⛳⛳⛳

Golf, at its core, is more than just a game. It's a beautiful journey, filled with unforgettable moments and cherished memories. The thrill of a perfect drive, the joy of a birdie, the camaraderie of your golfing buddies - these are the moments that make golf so special. 🏌️♀️💖 Sure, the scorecard might show numbers, but can it capture the laughter after a wayward drive or the awe-inspiring view from the 7th tee? It can't. Because golf, just like life, isn't defined by the scorecard, but by the memories we create along the way. ⛳️ The next time you tee off, remember it's not just about lowering your score; it's about raising the quality of your experience. Take a moment to savor the journey, to enjoy the companionship, to appreciate the beauty of the course. Because in the end, these are the memories that truly count. 🌞

If you're looking for someone to help you learn about your strengths and the strengths of your team, or if you're looking for someone to to discuss how to get more leadership exercises outdoors, reach out and lets chat about how we can collaborate.

Last week saw the opening of the ski season in Colorado. Keystone, part of the Vail Resorts, opened on November 1 and I made it out for the beautiful weather and to start skiing. My legs protested the different exercise, but it was the time to put thoughts to action and get started. As I took a couple of turns, I thought about how I was frequently guiding my direction of travel rather than commanding it. The skis had to adjust a little depending on the terrain, which changed each time just based on the traffic patterns of the other skiers. This is much of what leadership is like as well. You can give a vision of the destination and some left and right boundaries. But trying to control every step of the way is exhausting and pretty much impossible. Or you have to take on every piece of the process which is also exhausting and doesn't allow the team to do what they are good at. Learning to leverage your strengths along with the strengths of the members of your team is a critical skill for all of us. Taking the time to get in the reps (or turns) and practice is key. So is learning to give yourself time and grace, pick yourself up when something doesn't go quite right, brush off the snow, and get back on course. What brings you excitement for getting outdoors this time of year? How do you feel about guiding your direction instead of controlling it? What new inspiration has come to you when you last spent time outdoors on a beautiful day?

Are you signing up your kids to ski school? ⛷️ When we think ski school — we don't always think "child safety" beyond helmets and mountain air... everyone is bundled up, parents want to ski freely, and it's for a limited time. BUT — do you know if your ski school runs background checks on their instructors? Are there any boundary guidelines? Do they do any training or have conversations with instructors about abuse prevention? What if you asked? And — what if they don't do anything? As much as we may need ski school — we also want to ensure our kids are safe. And with ski school, there can be a lot of time when it's one instructor alone with young kids. 🎿 So, have you ever asked the questions and what would stop you from vetting your ski school? Comment your thoughts below! #SkiSchoolSafety #SchoolSafety #AbusePrevention

About half of the cities you mentioned are really the worst cities if you are retired and on a budget. They may be great places if you are well off, but given today’s economy, my guess is that most retirees are not.
25 Best Places To Enjoy Your Retirement In 2023 Forbes screened more than 800 locales in the U.S. for everything from climate change risk to crime to availability of doctors. We then compared those that made the cut for what they offered in leisure pursuits—from the arts, fine dining and learning to hiking, skiing, watersports and golf. Here are the top 25.
