🌏 Lunch ‘n’ Learn with CarbonFit Great to host our partners CarbonFit at our Lisburn HQ yesterday, as we launched a new series of Lunch 'n' Learn events, driven by our Camlin Green Team! Our Green Team act as #sustainability #champions across our organisation and support our carbon reduction strategy. Camlin Group is working with CarbonFit to successfully drive improved carbon data management and efficiencies through a streamlined online reporting platform. Our event offered the chance to share successes to date, discuss challenges and to brainstorm new ideas with our expert partners. Together, we are driving meaningful change towards a greener future, where environmental stewardship and operational excellence are prioritised. ⭐ Female Spotlight Series ⭐ This month's Female Spotlight Series features Cynthia Ifeanyi, a Data Scientist Placement student who has been working with Camlin Group’s UK Energy Business, Kelvatek for just under a year. Cynthia’s role has evolved tremendously since she started with Camlin, from a point of novice with programming languages and basic dashboards construction, to building machine learning models and dashboards that tell a story. The ⁠Camlin Group Running Club took part in our ‘home’ event last night – the 2024 Vitality Membership Lisburn Half Marathon, 10K Road Race and Fun Run! 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️ A beautiful sunny evening saw thousands of runners complete the Half Marathon, 10k and Fun Run distances. Congratulations to Clare Simpson , Ismail Karauzum and Olivia Brennan who competed in their first Camlin Running Club Event. 📢 Celebrating Collaboration and future growth with SDMyers   Last week, Camlin Energy North America had the pleasure of hosting representatives from our partner organization, SDMyers. We were joined by President Jon Bucciarelli, Sales Manager Will Cooley, Executive VP of Strategic Growth & Innovation Todd Hurst, and Strategic Business Development Territory Manager Mike Carswell. The productive day was spent in the company of Camlin Energy CEO Keith Redfearn, SVP Sales Jerry Utecht and VP Regional Sales Brandon Force, focusing on current and future collaborative business opportunities.    Led by Brandon, the group developed a robust plan targeting mutual growth, with the key focus on meeting customer commitments, expectations and goals, while maintaining the highest level of quality customer service at its core.   The SDMyers’ team was impressed with our North American headquarters in Atlanta, and the evident investments Camlin continues to make in the region. Their need to focus on monitoring as part of their portfolio was reinforced and together, we established clear, next steps for #collectivegrowth.   SDMyers’ President, Jon Bucciarelli, shared his thoughts on the visit: “Keith, Thank you for your wonderful hospitality over the past couple days. It was such a joy to have dinner with you and your team. I am really encouraged by the synergies of values of our companies. The boots-on-the-ground aspect of this partnership provides online monitoring data to our transformer experts to analyze customer data and provide practical recommendations for future steps our customers can take to prevent more faults. We look forward to continuing a fruitful partnership moving forward.”   Will Cooley, Sales Manager, added: “Thank you very much for your hospitality, Brandon, Keith and Jerry. ♻ Yesterday, as part of our #GreatBigGreenWeek initiative our Camlin Group Green Team hosted a ‘Let's Swap Together for Good Event’. We had a wonderful assortment of items and colleagues managed to make swaps from all the fantastic donations we received – it all contributes to our efforts in promoting #wastereduction. Our ideas board received some fantastic suggestions and gave us a chance to discuss small changes we can make in the company to enhance our #sustainability efforts. A huge thanks to everyone for your enthusiasm and participation in our Great Big Green Week event and a special thank you to Rebekah Robinson for setting up the event. 🙌 #SwapTogether

BBQ in Bologna! 🍔 🌭   Last Thursday our Camlin Group Bologna team organized a BBQ in the office courtyard. It was a great occasion to relax and socialize with colleagues. Piero Semararo, our Core Engineering Manager, took charge of the BBQ, grilling up tasty hamburgers and sausages. We rounded off the day with a spirited foosball tournament. Overall, it was a great event filled with fun, good food and #teamspirit. Here’s to more Summer days like this one. 😎 #team #SummerBBQ
