Camillo Companies recently launched our annual School Supplies Drive! Many students in our communities face challenges in accessing basic educational materials, and by participating in this drive, we can help bridge that gap. This year, our supply drive — which runs until July 19 — will benefit the following nonprofits: BEAR...BE A Resource for CPS Kids: A non-profit organization improving lives by providing hope and help for at-risk and CPS-involved children and their caretakers in the greater Houston area. Child Advocates San Antonio (CASA): Advocates who provide constancy and support for children and youth who have experienced abuse and neglect. Community Partners of Dallas: Strives to create a community fully equipped and mobilized to help children prevail over abuse and neglect. While we're collecting donations at each division office, we've also put together Amazon Wish Lists to make the donation process even easier. So, if you're interested in joining our efforts this summer, check out the links below to contribute: Houston Region: https://ow.ly/o9k450SnyOi San Antonio Region: https://ow.ly/C2IG50SnyOj Dallas-Fort Worth Region: https://ow.ly/lnjE50SnyOk #SchoolSuppliesDrive #EducationMatters #SupportOurStudents #NonprofitSupport #GiveBack #CommunityOutreach #CamilloCares

Our Big Give #ChristmasChallenge23 starts this time next week. 🥳 Thinking about donating to Family Fund? Please wait until midday Tuesday 28 November when, for just seven days, all donations will be doubled. That’s one donation, TWICE the impact on families raising a disabled or seriously ill child ✌ Ninety-five per cent of parents tell us they want more information and support than they can currently access. With your help, we can offer families a friendly helping hand to gain vital digital skills, understand the financial support that’s available to them and enable them to maximise their income. We can also provide information and support on children’s education and mental health and wellbeing. These are families whose budgets are stretched to breaking by higher costs due to their child’s essential needs, who have to make complex decisions around their child’s care and who are time poor due to extensive caring responsibilities. Your help is needed more than ever. Learn more about making twice the impact this giving season 👉 https://lnkd.in/eGAnUVgU

From all of us at Tuesday's Child hope you had a great holiday weekend with loved ones. Please help us reach our goal for Giving Tuesday. This Tuesday we are to raising money on Giving Tuesday that will help lower income families with financial assistance to access all of our programs. If you are not able to donate maybe there is a friend, relative or coworker that you know that might. Sharing Tuesday's Child donation link on any of your social media's would greatly help us to bring the awareness and mission of Tuesday's Child to families that might need our assistance. https://lnkd.in/gbD_FtPP Here is a testimonial form the Williams Family- Kenny had challenges in school. He was aggressive with other children when he didn’t get his way. His teachers didn’t understand what was going on. He was attending an excellent school, but sometimes even the best schools need assistance. It was very helpful to be in the Tuesday’s Child parent sessions and good to know other parents had the same frustrations and difficulties. To know we weren’t alone. His behavior has improved both at school and at home. As parents, we’ve become more understanding and compassionate. Tuesday’s Child was there for us. They helped us communicate. He’s able to use his words instead of his hands, to express his feelings instead of lashing out and throwing a tantrum #givingtuesday #charity #donate #tuesdayschild #kids #preschool #parents #teacher #care #chicago #kids #nonprofit #autism #ptsd #nonverbal

"Some of us can afford to support some part of the vast network of charities that of one our former presidents called 'a thousand points of light.' Those points of light are best seen, like stars at dusk, against a darkening sky." - Timothy Snyder, On Tyranny Being on LinkedIn, we are the ones who "can afford" even a small gift to benefit our most vulnerable neighbors. One of those thousand points of light is HumanKind, a non-profit serving the state of Virginia that believes community well-being starts with a solid foundation for EVERYONE. As you think about your year-end giving, please consider even just a $35 gift to support our First Night Backpack program for children transitioning into Foster Care. When kids are removed from a home, they often only have a few moments to throw a few things into a trash bag. They arrive to a new home with possibly not a single personal item. Take a moment to really let that sink in. Your gift would help a kid to transition into safety during such a tumultuous and confusing time. Being able to have a few essentials and the ability to carry them in an overnight bag, allows them a sense of ownership and dignity that they may not otherwise have during this time of instability. Your gift will also be DOUBLED due to a matching sponsor if you give by 12/31! Double your impact FOR A CHILD today. https://lnkd.in/e4eCHTh3

Did you know that the Friends support the work of the CJCSLC who serves 3000+ child victims of crime and their parents/caregivers annually in Salt Lake County (the largest amount of kids served by a CJC in Utah). What does this mean? It means that children who have seen a crime or been a victim of abuse (sexual, physical, emotional . . . ) come to the Children’s Justice Center of Salt Lake County seeking help for their situation. The Friends nonprofit raises money to support the CJCSLC’s important crisis care needs of the children and their parent/caregiver and assist in follow-up capacities if needed. We are also raising money for a brand new effort! To build sustainable programs that can build a health and wellness recovery support resource for kids, parents and caregivers in the weeks that follow their visit to the CJCSLC. If you want to help children of abuse build resilience with us, you can host a fundraiser at your local business with our QR code (see image above). Let us know you’d like to be a partner and we’ll get you the materials you need. Email director@cjcslc.org and become part of the hope our kids need. Every kid deserves a friend. . . . #wecareaboutyou #youmattertous #childabuse #friendsofthecjcslc #abuserecoverysupport #nonprofit #nonprofitorganization #fundraising #saltlakecountybusiness #teenmentalhealth #donatetoday #stopchildabuse #localbusinesses #localbusinessowners

Calling all Gwinnett residents, employees, and employers! Help us keep our children warm this Winter by donating new or used coats from September 1 to September 30. Your coat donations will be distributed to children in need throughout the community during the month of October. Drop off your coats at any of our participating locations: (please email peacegwinnett@gmail.com) for a list of participating locations. I appreciate your generosity in helping us keep our children warm this winter. ❄️ I understand that it's hot outside now but the season will change. 🔥 Let's keep children warm during the winter months, especially those who are homeless or living in poverty. Our children staying warm during recess at school and while standing on bus stops are equally important. New coats are not necessary, used coats in good condition are also appreciated. The impact that your donation will have on a child's life is never ending. This is an initiative through my nonprofit organization Peace Gwinnett Inc. My goal is to Provide Equality Access Community and Empowerment to youth of Gwinnett County one activity and initiative at a time. #coatdrive #coatcollection #coatdonation #warmthewinter #keepwarm #givethegiftofwarmth #equality #childrencoats #sharethelove #communityempowerment #communityimpact #nonprofit #communityinitiative
