Students at the Kennedy-Longfellow School are enjoying their newly expanded Multilingual Library! This new section of their library features more than 300 books in 34 different languages. The expansion was funded in part by the Office of Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Equity Collaborative Grant. The Equity Collaborative funds equity-based projects for students, educators, and caregivers to advance community-driven work that addresses racism, inequity, injustice, or oppression and promotes inclusivity in Cambridge Public Schools. How wonderful.  In North Carolina we are fighting the banning of books that would be in your collection.  The fight here is ugly, and not likely to end soon.

As an Educator/SW at CRLS, this is so wonderful to hear. Thank you for doing this for the children at KLo. I wonder if the other public libraries are doing the same thing?
