I love the simplicity of this framework and it reminds me so much of the Balanced Scorecard I used many years ago, when we were reshaping the strategy of the company I was working for to achieve double-digit growth in the following years. It was not only a fantastic way to align and communicate from top to bottom, but also a way that urged every functional leader to have full clarity on what and how to build value for the overall company strategy. So while writing this, I started thinking what if we applied this "CEO framework approach" to our personal growth plan? 🏁 Are you clear where you are heading? 🧮 How are you measuring progress? 🏛 Which are your strengths/pillars of your value proposition? (Whether if you are on a career ladder or an entrepreneur.) 🧗♀️What resources and support do you need to get there? If the answer is yes! Congratulations! McKinsey & Company bold approach to 100 day plan ... my personal take from boots on the ground experiences across many countries and international companies .. 100 day plan is an outdated approach..or milestone..yes it has to be used BUT the first plans to consider designing and executing upon are 1. 40 day plan ( yes 2 month no more ) 2. successive series of 20 day plans ..milestones planning the high level guidance planning M1 60 day M2 90 day M3 120 day this might fly in the face of established logic and engrained academic style models ..but it provides a platform to deliver accelerated high intensity evolution / transformation/ high growth etc Shaun Taylor can I beg for your views since at times we have interesting differing opinions 😉
