This is a great video with the message that yes, there is more work to do. Progress looks like USDOT's Equity Action Plan. It also looks like Secretary Pete including the Office of Civil Rights (OCR) in site visits. It was interesting to see, in respect to a Washington State project, that the OCR noted equity and civil rights strategies that were communicated in discretionary grant awards with the follow up that the office will be tracking implementation. For each federal agency that you receive funding from, take a look at their equity action plans. Some, like USDOT, are more robust than others. #TitleVI #environmentaljustice #equityactionplan #USDOT #CivilRightscompliance #triennialreview
