Pizza and weekends just seems to go together. I hear from so many people they get triggered into a guilt or shame cycle when they enjoy this delicious food. My tips for enjoying it fully: 1 Start with releasing the idea that there are ‘good’ and ‘bad’ foods. Be in charge of your food choices and manage portions and frequency. Pairing pizza with a side salad is always helpful to promote fullness. 2. Consider small tweaks to make the pizza more nutrient dense and less of a caloric bomb. Eg veggie toppings instead of loaded with meat, thin not thick crust, lite cheese not loaded. 3. Enjoy it fully with distractions. Happy weekend! 🙌

Here's a quick and delightful recipe that's both delicious and nutritious: the kale and parmesan quesadilla. With just three simple ingredients, this dish is a fantastic blend of flavors. It's a fuss-free meal that packs a punch in taste and nutrients, perfect for those busy days when you crave something easy yet satisfying. Ingredients: 1 cup of kale leaves, thinly sliced 1 gluten free tortilla (10 inches) 1½ ounces shredded Parmesan Salt and pepper to taste Instructions: Heat a medium skillet over medium heat. Add kale and 2 tablespoons water. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring, until the kale is wilted and water has evaporated. Remove from heat. Spread cooked kale over half the tortilla, then top with Parmesan. Fold the tortilla over. Wipe out skillet, place over medium-low heat and add filled tortilla. Cook until cheese is melted and tortilla is golden brown on both sides, 3 minutes per side.
