Patient Obsessed! Reimagining the way pharma interacts with patients I Passionate about improving the patient experience and increasing access to clinical trials.
When considering how to make clinical trials accessible, there are certain considerations such as capitalization, colors, etc that need to be taken into account. In this episode of LifeSci Talks, Mark Wade and Florence Mowlem, PhD review key points to consider for patient centricity. Any others you would suggest Carole S. or Ross Jackson? #accessibility #patientexperience #patientcentricity #clinicaltrials

Failing to meet all the basic requirements for a patient registry under a single platform, Cure Rare Disease reached out to Jeeva Clinical Trials Inc. for a "Patient registry for muscular dystrophies to accelerate #Genetherapy development. Many #clinicalstudies stifle due to unmet #diversity requirements in #patientrecruitment. The traditional approach to cohort patient groups & using a la carte tools during patient screening, communication & consent collection creates unnecessary challenges in #clinicaltrials. Discover the five golden rules, which can help overcome probable pitfalls in your next clinical trial & help gather quality outcomes at the endpoint. Those of you who know me know I’ve been pushing for the use of patient’s own devices in clinical research for the past 20 years (my first ePRO diary was on a Nokia 6300!). As I was writing this blog about why choice is such an important aspect of patient-centricity it occurred to me that eCOA is stuck in a rut that other trial systems don’t seem to have fallen into. EDC transitioned directly from paper to electronic systems, whereas eCOA initially moved from paper to provisioned PDAs. By adding that step, did we tie ourselves to the belief that electronic patient data capture requires a specific device to ensure comparable data sets? Where would ePRO be today if we hadn’t got locked into that cycle? Bonus points for your thoughts on the CYOJ approach! #PatientExperience #BYOD # ePRO #eCOA #CYOJ
