Crafting the Future: The Evolution of Personal Seating Solutions #PRAiSEProgress In our journey with PRAiSE, we've embraced 3D printing not just as a core technology but as a starting point for innovation. Here's how we're blending the best of 3D printing with traditional and modern manufacturing techniques to redefine personal seating solutions for wheelchair users. • Customization at Its Core: The power of 3D printing lies in its ability to tailor products to individual needs. We're harnessing this capability to its fullest, ensuring every cushion we create is as unique as the person it's designed for. • A Fully Digital Workflow: By integrating 3D printing into a digital workflow, we're maximizing efficiency and precision. This includes everything from sensors for accurate scanning to cloud computing and AI-driven design, streamlining the process from concept to print. • Beyond the Surface: Achieving a production-level finish without resorting to conventional methods is our challenge. Our solution? A traditional technology, but in a digital era that enhances the product's surface while maintaining the integrity and customization of 3D printing—no old-fashioned fabric covers needed. • From Scan to Seat: Here's what the process looks like: 1. Sensors meticulously scan the user in 5 minutes. 2. AI within our cloud computing infrastructure crafts a bespoke cushion model, ready for printing in an hour. 3. Our 3D printing farm brings the model to life in a few hours. 4. Each seat undergoes a thorough quality check before being dispatched to the client the next day. • Efficient, User-Centric, and Eco-Friendly: This might sound complex, but it drastically cuts down the time compared to traditional methods and eliminates stock necessity. More importantly, it offers unparalleled benefits for users and significantly cuts waste. With PRAiSE, we’re not just creating cushions; we’re crafting a sustainable future for personalized comfort. Stay with us as we continue to redefine the boundaries of what’s possible in personal rehabilitation solutions. #DigitalInnovation #SustainableDesign #3DPrinting #FutureIsNow

🏗️ A Perspective of Where 3D Printing is at in the Architecture Sector 🏛️ 🕒 I started 3D printing almost ten years ago. It has become more reliable with a higher rate of successful prints 📈, and a few creative minds have innovated ways to value-add printed models. However, the impact of 3D printing in the architectural business remains relatively flat. Good at: - Cost-effective 💰 - High level of detail 🎨 - Ability to print tricky/complex geometries 🧩 Not so good at: - High preparation time ⏳ - Print-material limitations 🚫 - Hobbyist-level skills/knowledge required 🛠️ Competitors: - Real-time rendering 🖥️ - XR technology 🕶️ - Paper model 📄 🚀 Top 3 Technological Advances (in my opinion) that will help 3D printing take off in the Architectural world: + AI assistant to auto-simplify BIM models to match print quality. 🤖 + Advancement in print material (like Google GNoME?) to increase texture variety, improve printability, and reduce post-processing time. 🎛️ + An order of magnitude improvement in print speed. ⚡ What do you think is the "killer app" that will significantly boost 3D printing in Architecture? #3DPrinting #Architecture #FutureOfDesign #4c4545

Have you ever wondered how architects test buildings before construction begins? With 3D printing, they can create small-scale models to ensure everything fits and functions perfectly. Architects are now using 3D printers to turn their imaginative designs into reality. These printers allow them to showcase their ideas in a tangible way, making it easier for everyone to visualize the final result. Some 3D printers work like robots, carefully crafting each part of a building with precision. This technology ensures that every element is in the right place, resulting in stronger and more reliable structures. Instead of building things all at once, 3D printers construct buildings layer by layer. This method can be quicker and more accurate than traditional construction methods. Imagine being able to print a house from the ground up! With 3D printing, this is becoming a reality. Special materials like concrete can be used to create homes layer by layer. 3D printers can create intricate details with ease, allowing architects to add personalized touches to their designs. This attention to detail can make a big impact on the final look of a building. By using metal in 3D printing, buildings can be made even stronger. This means they can withstand more wear and tear, ensuring they last for years to come. Want to learn more about how 3D printing is transforming construction? Swipe through the carousel to dive deeper into this innovative technology! #construction #3dprinting #architecture #technology

Can you optimize your coffee grinder with a 3D printer? ☕🔧 I did! 💪🖨️ Rapid prototyping at home is easier than ever. 🏠🚀 The art of manufacturing had been a long time reserved for huge companies with large production plants and heavy machinery. With 3D printers becoming affordable and easy to use, the game changed. In an extreme short timeframe you can build your own component parts. ⏰🖨️🔧 My experiment began with an error in the design of my coffee grinder. I use a portafilter coffee machine with a separate grinder from the same brand. When the portafilter is in grinding mode, the coffee pounder always fell out of the grinder because the open space was too big. I thought of fixing it somehow manually, but then came up with my idea to leverage technology. 💡🛠️🔩 After removing the tray which holds the portafilter, I sent it to a small company that digitalized the tray through a 3D scan into a 3D model. Another company then added manually more surface to the 3D model minimizing the open space of the grinder to block the coffee powder dropping out. Finally, I sent the adjusted version to a 3D printing company. After overall 3-4 weeks, I got my own, custom-made tray, and it works as designed! 📐🖨️🔩☕ Did you ever try out 3D printing? What do you think of this technology? 🖨️🌟 Share your experiences in rapid prototyping at home! 🏠🚀 #3Dprinting #RapidPrototyping #CoffeeGrinder #CustomMade #Innovation #Technology #DIY #Manufacturing
