Burning Man Project is working to accomplish three goals by 2030: to Handle Waste Ecologically, Be Regenerative, and Be Carbon Negative. Join us on July 19 to learn about our collective progress. In this call, we will discuss the impactful projects within Black Rock City and beyond that are driving our efforts to reduce environmental impact. We’re thrilled to announce that several notable figures will join us to share their sustainability practices: 🟢 Peter Platzgummer, Complex Art Project Manager, will discuss sustainability in art and introduce the Temple of Together, highlighting their sustainability efforts for the 2024 Temple at Black Rock City. 🟢 Pablo Gonzalez Vargas will share the sustainability efforts of the Mayan Warrior. 🟢 Dakota Gruener, Astera Climate Fellow, will speak about carbon dioxide removal projects and our goal to Be Carbon Negative.
