Here’s how we’re making a difference: - We’ve recycled 45,168 ML of water, preserving and reusing this precious resource to safeguard our environment - Since 2020, we’ve contributed R5 million annually towards rhino conservation, playing a crucial role in protecting these magnificent creatures from extinction. - Our dedicated efforts have resulted in a 9% reduction in absolute Scope 1 emissions and a 12% reduction in Scope 2 emissions, helping to mitigate climate change and reduce our carbon footprint. - We’ve cleared 2,872 hectares of alien vegetation, allowing native plants and wildlife to flourish once more in their natural habitats. - With R63 million invested in climate change research and development, we are leading the way in minimising our environmental impact and innovating for a sustainable tomorrow. Our mission extends beyond mining. We are investing in renewable energy projects, reducing our carbon footprint, and striving towards carbon neutrality.
