Design systems are crucial, but implementing them well across design and code is hard. Some of the key challenges companies face (and what solutions exist): - Adoption: Remove integration friction with tools that map your design components to code components - Multi-framework support: Generate framework-agnostic components with tools like Mitosis - Design handoff: Implement integrated design-to-code pipelines - Consistency: Centralize your system and use the right collaboration tools to propagate changes Read how, in detail, to improve your design system workflows in my latest article: https://lnkd.in/gE3cFycj
Great points and insights on methods, Steve. I appreciate the thought process and, most importantly, the clear path to achieving this. The workflow from design to code should be a collaborative process—a continuous, integrated effort at both the component and human levels. As more advanced tools bridge gaps and bring teams together, this collaboration becomes even more critical.
Amen. Design informs everything, but ensuring everyone involved is informed is always a challenge
Interesting! every especially large teams need a good process for design to code and this article has some good points for this.
