We wrote these 2024 digital trends - and Charlie Beall recorded this interview - well before last night's NFL game in Buffalo. Which was notable because of the snow drifts fans needed to plough through in order to find their (or any) seat. Freak weather is freak weather - nothing anyone can do about that. But it goes to show the challenges that all sports, in all countries globally, will have as our home-viewing experience gets more and more sophisticated (and weather-proof!) In response, stadia will have to become smarter. This is already happening - with trail-blazing arenas like Levi's in San Francisco, SoFi in Los Angeles, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, and the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas (venue for next month's Super Bowl). The Sphere, also in Vegas, also showed us in 2023 how buildings can become broadcast tools, interactive media, and advertising inventory. This digital trend will continue through 2024 and beyond. Fans will increasingly expect the in-person experience at games to be as advanced as their home tech.

YouTube integrations are one of my favourite forms of inventory within this industry. It offers evergreen performance. As the content continues to grow, so does the brands performance without having to reinvest a single extra penny, a USP when compared to all other media spaces. In some instances, we've seen a high as 78% content growth just 6 months after the campaign term, delivering over 204% growth in CTR. On another YouTube video, we're still seeing high sentiment comments coming in with a growth of over 4.1M views over the past 5 years.
