They will update your knowledge as an expert witness in the criminal courts during the Criminal Parallel session at this year’s Bond Solon Expert Witness Conference, on Friday 3 November 2023, either in-person (Westminster) or virtually. It is nearly a decade since the Ministry of Justice responded to the Law Commission report on Admissibility of Expert Evidence in Criminal Proceedings in England and Wales. At the time the Ministry indicated that it did not intend to act on most of the recommendations. However, we have since witnessed changes to the Criminal Procedure Rules and Criminal Practice Directions. Parallel Session: How is the criminal justice system changing for expert evidence?
