Formula 1 and DHL have agreed a multi-year extension that will see DHL, the world-leading logistics company, maintain their position as the longest-standing Global Partner of F1. The extended commitment is a testament to the unprecedented growth that F1 has experienced over recent years, as DHL continue to support the delivery of Grands Prix and F1 Events around the world as Official Logistics Partner. Significant progress has been made Formula 1 to reach its Net Zero 2030 target, thanks to DHL working alongside logistics experts within F1 to identify innovative solutions to operate more sustainably. This continued collaboration will see the logistics related carbon emissions reduced further in the coming years. While the industry has been flirting with the concept of #Sustainability for a while now, it's clear that we're going to see a significant increase in interest this year. The environment is an essential part of the global conversation in 2024 in every industry, from politics to sports to entertainment. Sustainability measures are no longer being considered a novelty or a good PR strategy - it's considered essential for the continuation of these international institutions, and #F1 is no exception. How do you think Madrid's involvement will impact sustainability commitments, and what do you think is in store for the future of the sport?

🏎️ Is Construction and Formula 1 really that different? 🏎️ ➡ With the return of F1 around the corner, I have been thinking and comparing this to business and lessons we can all learn and similarities .. 🚦 In the high-stakes world of Formula 1, success isn't just about speed; it's about precision. Each race is a testament to the meticulous attention given to every detail, and the same principles can be applied to in the business world. It is often the hard work you do not see, the attention to little details that make the difference. ⚙️ Team Collaboration: Formula 1 is a team sport, and success is a collective effort. Similarly, effective leadership is about fostering a culture of collaboration. Just like the precision teamwork seen in a pit stop, where split-second decisions are made flawlessly, it shows how much we have to prepare and be ready to be flexible, ready to adapt, communicate, and execute with precision. 🔍 Attention to Detail: Formula 1 teams leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of excellence. Accomplished! 🌎 It’s so wonderful to see that what started as a vision 1 1/2 years ago is now a reality - in white jerseys and independently certified! 🗑️➡️💎 What the #bundesliga is demonstrating here should be an example for many other areas. As we navigate an era where sustainability is no longer a choice but a necessity, concepts like these emerges as a compelling strategy to rethink how we produce, consume, and thrive. And I was literally shocked about the following: For example, you can find: 55 pages of financial rules 111 pages of sports rules 175 pages of technology rules Is that what excites people? Interpreting rules and seeing “arguing” lawyers? Formula 1 was and is the spearhead of Innovation. Maybe we have to redefine Innovation. Is Innovation limited to a specific field of technology? No! Wouldn't widespread technological openness be more innovative, more environmentally friendly and more entertaining? As food for thought: Agree on essential safety rules, on a budget cap and on sensible, technology-neutral efficiency and environmental rules and thats it. Then engineering can be given free rein. I think then the F1 cars will at least look different again... and you can't just recognize them by their paintwork. :) #FiA
