One year with Data Street Marketing! There is an endless list of what I have learned in the past year, but this post will focus on what I've learned regarding the importance of a having a successful digital strategy.. and all the work that goes into it. A year ago, I thought websites were just.. well websites. What I didn't realize was the infinite details that go into creating a positive user experience that leads to more lead conversions. A customized website reflects your brand identity effectively. From color schemes to logos, you have complete control over how your audience perceives your brand. I didn't realize the importance of a skilled web developer... Now I do! I can't even begin to explain how naive I was to the pivotal role of SEO, and the impact it has on your website's ranking on search engine results pages (Google, Bing, etc..). Navigating through keywords, backlinks, creating blog posts and enhancing user experience is the cornerstone that ensures a brand stands strong in a ever-changing digital landscape. a year ago, I didn't realize the importance of an SEO specialist... Now I do! I thought Social Media was just randomly planned posts created to get likes. I didn't realize the research and planning that goes into crafting strategic social media plans, designed to engage with a specific audience. It's not just about posting content; it's about curating a narrative that resonates with your audience. From creating and planning engaging content calendars to analyzing metrics, every step is instrumental in shaping your digital identity. A year ago, I didn't know the importance of a Social Media Specialist, Now I do! This list could go on and on from content creation, to target audience behavior research, so on and so on. This past year has been a journey of continuous learning, and adapting to the challenges of an ever- evolving digital landscape. I look forward to the new trends that present themselves over the next year.
