Medical Device Sales I Passionate about Women's Health I Empowering women to pursue their dream career ⚡️
What the relationship between recruiters and job seekers in medical device sales should look like: If you're not already working with a recruiter, you absolutely should be. They have direct access to the hiring manager, which means they can get the process going for you and set you up to talk to them without any guesswork on waiting around hoping they find you. Recruiters go to bat for their candidates and will help present MULTIPLE opportunities to you until you find the right one. Here are some of my favorites that you should ABSOLUTELY be introducing yourself to: -The Lobby Medical Sales Network gives you access to MULTIPLE med sales recruiters with the best companies out there. They constantly have openings across the country. They also host networking events that can help you get your name out there. -David Bagga is also a great resource. He is always posting new and updated med sales positions all the time. -Pursuit is a staffing company with tons of medical sales recruiters. They are always great to connect with as well. Don't forget about in-house recruiters with your dream companies as well! What do you think? Have you been working to connect with med sales recruiters in your area? 👇

Interview question from the VP / Sales Director: "What are your strengths?" (*what they are really asking)... "Tell me why you're the best fit for this role?" They want to confirm AND avoid these things about you... To CONFIRM: 1.) You answer the questions confidently 2.) Your perceived skills align with that of a successful med sales rep (goal-oriented, great communicator, adaptive, great work ethic, can execute a plan) 3.) You have a sense of self-awareness (ie. did you answer the question directly or did you go down a different thought path) To AVOID: 1.) Not connecting your strengths to relevant / needed med sales skill 2.) Identifying a basic trait as a 'strength' (ex. showing up on time) 3.) Not providing real-world examples Always ask yourself, "How does my answer tie back into this job, and did I answer their question directly / clearly enough?" #medicalsales #medicaldevice #medtech

From "No" to "Sales Champion" 💡🏆 Three years ago, I was on a quest to fill a specialized Territory Manager role in the cardiac field. The expertise required was so unique that it felt like I was searching for a unicorn 🦄 After several interviews, my client was still searching for that elusive perfect fit. That's when I put forward a candidate who didn't tick the usual boxes. They had a wealth of medical device sales experience but hadn't directly worked in the cardiac niche. There was initial hesitation, but I saw beyond the resume—here was someone with drive, desire, and a notable track record. With a nudge, my client agreed to an interview 🤝 Fast forward to today, and that very candidate has been awarded "Sales Rep of the Year" within the business. What a journey from an uncertain "maybe" to a resounding success story!! 🤩 The lesson? Hiring isn't always cut and dry 👔📈. It pays to see potential, to consider genuine interest and transferable skills. Everyone is unique, and unlocking that uniqueness could be the key to your team's triumph 🗝️💼 To the hiring teams out there: let's embrace the diverse talents and the surprising potential each candidate brings to the table 🌟 #TalentUnlocked #MedDeviceSuccess #HiringInsights

Executive Recruiter at Four Corners Executive Search || Medical Device, Biotech, and Pharma Recruiter for Sales & Marketing Talent
One of my favorite aspects of medical sales is how dynamic the roles are. No day is ever exactly the same. There’s always subtle unpredictability and spontaneity especially when case coverage is involved. Thinking on your feet, taking quick action, and finding ways to juggle multiple responsibilities are all components of an average day in medical device. Conveying your ability to handle this dynamic work environment is key when interviewing for these roles. Several situational interview questions actually stem from this exact job function. The questions of “handling pressure on the job” or “managing several customers needs at once”, are getting at your ability to be a dynamic seller. Whether you’re already in the industry or looking to break in, this is just a reminder of what’s on hiring manager’s minds. Being nimble, flexible, and dynamic oftentimes make for a great medical device salesperson! #medicalsales #medsales #interviews #recruiting

I help busy medtech business leaders free up time and increase revenue, by efficiently recruiting the best sales people for their teams. Recruitment | Retention | Medical Sales.
Finding the right talent for your medical sales company isn’t easy. Particularly in today’s market. In the last few years, the number of organizations searching for candidates has increased, and while available, skilled professionals have grown scarcer. According to research presented by Korn Ferry, by 2030, around 85 million roles could go unfilled, simply because there aren’t enough skilled people out there to take them. At the same time, employees are becoming a lot more discerning about where they choose to work. Logically working with a recruiter who understands the medical sales hiring process is key, AND there are several things as a company you can do to help. We explain more in our post here-> https://lnkd.in/dRnCcTKu #talentattraction #AdvanceRecruitment #MedicalSales
