Community. Last weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the Birmingham Corporate Challenge with almost 100 folks from TEAm Milo's and their families. This is Milo's 3rd year participating in this adult field day, but our first year placing in our division! HATs off to TEAm Milo's for taking home 2nd place in our division! 🏆 Corporate Challenge is a great way for Birmingham businesses to come together for friendly competition, promote health and wellness, and most importantly, give back to our community. I was energized feeling our unique PeopleFirst culture that is the number one ingredient for our success during each event and interaction. While walking, hula hooping and enjoying all the various activities, I had the chance to ask many employees why they participated in the Corporate Challenge, and their comments echo the values that are important in every corner of our business, and really fuel my personal why. To name just a few I heard throughout the day, "TEAmwork," "partnership," "showcasing what it looks like to be agile," and community, community, community. It makes me a #ProudCEO to know we have so many A Players who really get our secret sauce AND want to come together for our shared purpose. So, a big HATs Off to everyone who helped us bring home first place in the Move n' Groove, hula hoop competition, the One Mile Fun Walk, basketball and bowling. 🏆 And, on top of our athletic victories, Milo's matched donations our associates made from their Milo's Makes a Difference fund to double our positive impact for Children's of Alabama. ❤️🩹 It was also extra sweet magic that we brought together corporate AND front line folks who work tirelessly in our manufacturing and distribution centers to deliver consistent deliciousness. Seeing these groups work and win together is always magic to me. A special thank you to our Milo's Tea Company, Inc. TEAm Captains: Matt Owens, Tammy C Moore, Ashton Hammonds, Brandon Patterson, MBA, SPHR, and Brittany Gray for such a fun, meaningful and impactful day. 😍 How is your organization bringing folks together for competition, wellness and impact?
