What an awesome picture Brittany. We have been blessed to do a couple of jobs there at Milo’s. Great, Great people to work for. We need to get your folks and go out and eat at Formosa, like we used to do regularly many years ago. Let’s get your folks and Matthew and Trey’s gang and make that happen.
Will you help me make that happen sometime soon !!!!!
Me and your folks have just talked about it for a few years and have just not made the time for it. Life sure does get in the way sometimes!!!!!
But I’d sure like to get us all together if you will help me get that figured out. I hope you have a great day.
Love you guys.

Not every company can be Gong
Outside of Lamanna and JC, these 2 companies represent a lot of the people I see on LinkedIn making waves.
In all seriousness, this is my favorite partnership I've ever seen on LinkedIn
JR Butler is a great guy. First words out of his mouth when I DMed him that I liked his content - "how can I help"
And what better group of people to support than transitioning athletes and veterans?
Dylan Rheault seems like a genuine guy and is always sharing other people's wins. We all grow together 🚀
One of the realest people on this platform, CT Falk told me to check out the work that Apex Revenue was doing. Said months ago that they were going to change the game 🔥
They only hire in person so it wasn't in alignment at the time, but I followed Justin Middleton and have seen them take off.
Then more and more people started popping up.
Added CEO Joey Gilkey off a comment he made about being holistic without even realizing he was with Apex.
Ryan Reisert, Josh Braun, and Morgan Ingram were the first 3 LinkedIn influencers I knew of before I was even active on LinkedIn. So when I saw Ryan was involved, I knew it was legit
Thomas W. Theisen, Charles Needham, and Scott Manea are 3 dope people I've connected with on this platform as well
Scott actually joined my fantasy baseball league and is a great dude
PS - Please help me out and peer pressure him to post so he can feel the power of this platform 💪

Worked with the Shift Group to find one of the most legit reps I've seen in a while. Going to be a great asset to an already strong team. Welcome to the team Keith Winfrey.
Is there some value in Company Christmas parties?
Are these parties a great way to keep up team morale?
Or just one more excuse to get drunk and make a mess?
What do you think?
ps. here is a photo from my company party
We decided to gather the whole team before all the summer holidays a few weeks back and spend an unforgettable team day with our amazing Pointscene Team!🌟
Throughout a full day (and night) of activities, there were a few moments and especially learnings to highlight:
🚵♀️ Mountain biking: Maintaining focus and staying on track is key. Just like in our work, anticipating obstacles helps us navigate efficiently and avoid setbacks.
🎨 Graffiti art: Having a well-validated plan makes trying new things easier. It's all about investigation, seeking help when needed, and making adjustments along the way.
🔐 Escape room: When faced with tough challenges, bravery lies in asking for help. We understand the value of time, so let's focus on our strengths and seek support to conquer the rest.
🍕🍻 Sauna and food: The eternal question: food or sauna first? Regardless, one thing is certain – always have plenty of snacks on hand! 🍩
The team day was a perfect blend of adventure, collaboration, and relaxation. It reminded us of the importance of teamwork, creativity, and embracing challenges together.
Hope everyone has an amazing summer! ☀️
How much support can you possibly give?
Today, we had our bi-annual meeting with the roasting team.
The team came to our place in the countryside.
And there was this plum tree.
It is a very old tree, bursting with fruits so heavy, that the branches threaten to break.
Someone supported the branches with poles.
There are 28 poles in total.
Without their support, the branches wouldn't only break and lose the fruits, no, the tree would lose its branches too.
The system works because there is support.
The individual poles work together, so that the tree keeps growing.
The choreography between the individual and the system make it happen.
Be it a tree, be it a team.
Onwards.
Thank you Sami Unrau. This is a really important message.
When we started AbsenceSoft, we had a lot of young families. The message was always “as long as the work gets done and the clients are happy, work wherever, whenever and however.”
And that rings true to this day too. Supporting people and families has fueled our growth and helped us build a great team.
My kids are incredibly active and I love being a part of that. I tell our new employees, there’s a good chance if you call after 4:30pm I’m probably going to be in the car driving someone to a practice. And honestly, the calls I have in the car are when I have my most productive conversations because I’m not juggling meetings or emails – as long as you can handle a 10-year-old DJ in the background.
Just last week I called Mark Schiff, our CEO, at 5am from the airport and he answered saying “I’m driving my daughter to practice, but I have 40 minutes, it’s a perfect time.”
There are times when it looks like I respond to a whole bunch of emails at 8pm because that's when I get near somewhere for my laptop to synch. Or, I will often shoot a slack message at 10pm (and hope that I don’t get an immediate response because no one has to work on my schedule when I have a random thought) because those are times when I’m hanging out with my teenage daughter while she's doing homework and it triggers a thought.
On the flip side: we’ve got plenty of team members without kids. It’s not fair to expect them to shut off at 5 and come back on at 8 because it fits a soccer schedule either. You've got to meet employees/co-workers where they are.
I guess what I am trying to say is, it’s important to lead by example. Leaders should create an environment where people can work when they need to and can take care of personal and family obligations too. As long as things get done, and coworkers and clients don’t feel neglected, when or where the work gets done shouldn’t matter.

These statements set the tone for your team.
They may seem simple, but they are LOADED with permission.
Permission to work where and how you need to. Permission to prioritize your life and family. Permission to set an example for others.
Consistent statements like this determine the working norms for the team.
Parent out loud - it matters.
Key reminder to work for a company that values you and wants you to succeed in the long run. Most importantly, work for a company that cares about you and your goals. Each of us can achieve a lot on our own but when you have a fantastic and caring team, nothing stands in the way.

What advice would you give to someone who is struggling to build a high-performance team? ✏️
Understand your team first before wanting them to understand you.
"Trust”. What does “trust” mean to you? Yesterday I had the chance to watch a beautiful acrobatic show, and I couldn’t stop thinking about the immense trust between these performers. Hundreds of hours of prep, passion, dedication to their dreams, yet trust is essential. No safety nets, no invisible wires, just them in the air and their trust in each other. Trust and teamwork go hand in hand, like acrobats in perfect sync.
How do you nurture trust in your team every day? #Trust#Teamwork#Dedication"
🙌 If you focus on cultivating a smooth team flow, you can transform your team from a collection of individuals into a well-oiled machine, achieving remarkable things together.
How to do it?👇
