Personally, I learn a lot about selling from non-sales content. For example, I used to listen to long form interview podcasts to get better at asking questions, to study how interviewers get people talking about a particular topic. (e.g., listen more to the questions than answers) Yesterday I said good reps often talk more than the customer (they're engaging, persuasive, they make it valuable, teach something). Here's an example that demonstrates this from outside the sales world... watch this lecture by Bill Gurley. It's engaging and persuasive. If he can talk uninterrupted for ~20 min and be persuasive, you don't need your customer to talk 70% of the meeting (you prob do need to prep more than you do). You can *become more persuasive* by studying examples like this. https://lnkd.in/eRnubR3Z

To many of the crazies to list 😂 Meeting Gavin Wainwright what a guy, I knew immediately he was going to be my wingman To every single person who’s been part of my journey - it can be a lonely path in business, but with support like yours, it’s been incredible. This means that your video can reach a wider audience, better SEO and increasing brand awareness and driving traffic to your website. A must have strategy.
