Most companies don’t need recruiters. If they post a job ad, they’ll get at least 100 applicants in 48 hours. They can spend a few hours filtering through them. They can interview the best 6 or 7, whittle it down to the top 3, and make an offer to the best of the bunch. Job done! Many businesses hire like this. But less than 1% become a unicorn. Ask a successful founder how they did it, and they’ll probably credit their employees. They hired top-tier talent, built a top-tier product, and had a top-tier strategy. And I can almost guarantee they didn’t find their top performers through a job ad. Some high-achievers apply for roles. But most don’t. The only way to reach them is with a decent outbound campaign. So, you could up your hiring budget to cover job ads AND an outbound strategy. Or, you could use a recruiter who already has the tools, network, and expertise to help you hire the best talent IN the market, not ON the market.
