And then there’s the added factor of reading about promotions and new job postings where you want to be happy for others, but it also hurts. #kindnesscostsnothing

Brian Fink How often do you think Hiring Managers within TA are on LinkedIn? Once a Recruiting role opens up, internal word of mouth shuts down that req almost immediately. Never really giving Recruiters on this platform a chance. Or how about the 2,000 applicants Recruiters have to compete with on a LinkedIn Job Posting, how’d ya like to be the 2,001st applicant on Day 3 of the opening? 🤷♂️

100% agree. It has been so tough to get an interview the last few months, having to wait and wait and finally got an interview schedule for a job next week. Now to see what happens.

15 years that's wild, do you feel its only tied to the lack of current openings? Inflation and other markers and the US economy overall have improved though.

It’s tough out there. I’ve been actively searching since 4/1, and I just had to take something I’m overqualified for.
