Today we welcome the newest City Express Plus by Marriott Monterrey Centro. The name Monterrey translated from Spanish to English is "King Mount" or "King Mountain" – I’ll admit I am partial to the city’s name! Monterrey is considered the industrial capital of Mexico with many large corporations that have critical hubs including the recently announced Telsa battery plant along with IBM, Amazon, BBVA, Banorte, and Whirlpool just to name a few. But this booming city is not just for work. It has emblematic historical and artistic sites such as Fundidora Park and the Museum of Contemporary Art and natural wonders such as the García Grottoes and the Cola de Caballo Waterfall. There is no better place for work and play than Monterrey! The hotel itself is located near Tecnológico de Monterrey University and offers the characteristic brand standards services and amenities, such as complimentary breakfast, evening dining options, business center, meeting rooms and gym and is ideal for business or leisure travelers who need to be in the heart of the city. And of course, the team has the warm and reliable hospitality City Express Plus is known for. I know they anxiously await your arrival. We are so happy to celebrate the opening of the City Express Plus by Marriott Monterrey Centro. Sincere congratulations to Vania Garza, General Manager, and the entire City Express team!
