Brian Arrington SHRM-SCP’s Post

Recently I had the opportunity to talk to Dr. Jim (ജിം കണിച്ചിറയിൽ) Kanichirayil about #HR and #leadership. On his Engaging Leadership show we discussed that change is inevitable, but it takes time. As the Chief Human Resources Officer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, it is important to understand HR’s role in supporting business through change with a focus on strategic alignment, self-reflection, synchronization, and effective questioning. Check out the show and let me know your thoughts on these important topics!

Totally agree Brian - my best HR partners were the ones who deeply understood and aligned to the business requirements. There was no limit to the impact we could deliver as a unit when synchronized at that level!
