Today marks 1 year and 2 months since I joined Reckitt! Since my very first day supporting the Grocery Team, we were focused on the launch of our new Finish Ultimate Dish Detergent. After a lot of hard work, attention to detail, and collaboration across multiple cross-functional teams, we finally launched this amazing product in the US market this past September. We had a stellar launch at Meijer, for which our Meijer team was recognized with the "Strive for Excellence" award. I am proud of our achievements there, and all of the Grocery Sales and Category team members I worked closely with this year to make our launch a success. I'll admit that as a consumer myself, I was not skipping the rinse. After joining the Finish team, I realized what a positive environmental impact each of us as consumers and dishwasher users can make each and every day. That's why Finish is launching an initiative to drive awareness of the growing water crisis and inspire action among consumers. Right now, in Texas, there is a sculpture sitting at the bottom of an at-risk lake. The “HOPEFUL MONUMENT” will only become visible if water levels drop low enough to reveal it, at which point it will be too late. Today we are delighted to announce that Reckitt’s Board of Directors has appointed Kris Licht as our next Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Nicandro Durante. Kris has led Reckitt’s Health business since 2020 and was previously our Chief Transformation Officer. He has been instrumental in delivering Reckitt’s transformation, both in setting our strategic direction around organisational structure and areas of focus and investment, and in the delivery of the successful turnaround of our Health business. He brings a deep understanding of Reckitt’s business, brands and culture, strong experience and a broad range of skills to the role. Kris will become CEO Designate from 1 May 2023 and will be appointed to the Board as an Executive Director from 1 June 2023. He will take over as CEO by the end of 2023.
