This past weekend, I had a BLAST volunteering at the 2024 KitchenAid Senior PGA of America Championship at the beautiful Harbor Shores golf course in Benton Harbor, Michigan. My role was "Standard Bearer" which allowed me to be inside the ropes and as close to the action as you can be. Through my experience, I couldn't help but wonder how my role as Standard Bearer coincided with Recruiting. ๐ค โณ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ As a Standard Bearer I was committed for 3 days, walking 9 miles each round with the players and caddies for 5 hours each round. The weather varied with sunny, warm skies to dodging thunderstorms. I had to mentally take small wins, three holes at a time opposed to viewing it as an 18 hole project. I even had to strategically decide when to drink water given the lack of bathroom access! I had to accurately keep track of changing scores and ensure I had the most up-to-date information reflected on my scoreboard (bearer). One of the biggest struggles businesses have faced since the pandemic is providing a clear reason for teams to physically get together. Not just mandated in-office days...but real, "feel-it-in-your-bones" benefits to all being in the same place, at the same time, for the same reason. Tackling disconnection, bolstering team connections and understanding people a little better. That's what 4and20Million. provide with our tailored Peak District away days. Quality food, idyllic locations, inspiring training...and if being #hunted is your thing, then we can add that into your ideal away-day mix!
Do you want to make your team away day an experience to really remember?! 'Hunted in the Peaks' is one of the most popular team events we offer amongst groups looking for a team offsite a little out of the ordinary. Set in the heart of the Peak District, it's suitable for all, brilliant fun and perfectly complements a day of team building or training. Do your team have the skills to escape the hunters? Only one way to find out...!

As a leader, you want to lead cohesive teams that fulfill their potential and perform at the highest level. At WHY NOT Leadership - we help you unlock the secret to getting there faster!
"They don't put trees in the fairway!" Kent Cravens I was reminded of this fact during a recent golf outing with my good friend and colleague, Kent Cravens. It's true. If we hit the ball in the fairway, there are no impediments to get to the green. It's simple, hit the fairway, hit the green, make two putts and walk away with a par. If you one putt you walk away with a birdie. At least that's how they do it on TV. It's simple, not easy. You get one more shot on the par 5's and one less shot on the par 3's, but for the most part, if you hit fairways and greens, you'll shoot par or better. That's the high percentage play. But other factors come into play. In my case, the ability to hit said fairways every time, or the green from even a short distance away. Often my drives do end up in the trees, and my approaches in the greenside bunker. And in those cases, it's time to get creative. Find a window through the trees, hit a shot that lands softly near the pin, find a way to make par. 100 yards away, with trees in front and a bunker between you and the flag to make par? That's what I call a "hero opportunity." The chance to do something that has never been done before and that you have an opportunity to do based on the unfortunate circumstances that put you in that position. So, yes, hitting fairways and greens is the easiest way to pars and birdies, but we don't always do that, so we have opportunities to be heroic. Just like in life, following the proven path is the easiest way to get consistent reliable results. But sometimes things don't go as planned. And that's when we get an opportunity to do something that's never been done before. How do you face the unexpected twists and turns of life? Do you welcome the challenges and cherish the opportunity to be a hero? Or do you always play it safe and make sure you follow the plan? Or is it a mix of both? #Choices #HeroOpportunities #GolfLessons What's your attitude when things don't go as planned?

Happy Friday! As we head into the final quarter of the year, I drew inspiration from the Ryder Cup this morning, where teamwork, dedication, and unwavering belief in each other lead to greatness. Golf much like business, takes practice, strategy, precision and the honing of a craft. Its as much mental as physical. Tactical - short term vs bigger picture. Underdog stories, last minute putts, comebacks, remarkable journeys - are we talking about golf or great businesses? The Parallels between sport and business are never more apparent that in this tournament. In golf, just like in our professional lives, every stroke matters. Success is not just about one individual's performance, but the collective effort of the entire team. Together, they can achieve with a shared vision remarkable feats. Remember, it's not the size of the task that matters, but the size of our commitment to excel. This also echoed for me, that here at Amoria Bond we truly believe in learning, honing your craft, team work, clear goals and that idea to keep going one better for our clients, candidates, community and our company. Here's to an October filled with inspiration and teamwork! #RyderCupSpirit #TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork #FridayMotivation

One of the most beautiful moments in Cincinnati men's final match was Carlos taking a moment during his speech to show love & appreciation to his big brother. A few key takeaways from that match I can relate to my day to day job. 1: Your job is not done until its done (Carlos own the 1st set and was leading 4-2 in the 2nd set, yet he didn't win the match) 2: Its okay to show emotions(or cry). In the end, we all are humans and emotions are part and parcel of our day to day work life (and of course personal life too) 3: Don't shout at your team just because you didn't get the result you wanted 4: Don't forget the team who helped you through out your journey (Carlos hasn't forgotten who helped him get there & he's making sure the world knows it as well) 5: Always smile (win or no-win). Its cost you $0

This video change my lifeโฆ The golf balls in the jar are represents important things in your life: Family Friends Health Passions The pebbles are the other important things: Car Job Home The sands is everything else. Itโs just small staff. If you put the sand into the jar first, you wonโt have room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same is true with life. If you spend all energy on the small stuff, you wonโt have time for all the real important things that matter to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Take care of golf balls first, because everything else is just a sand. #familyfirst #friends #passion
