Garnishes can make or break a cocktail by complimenting their flavour and adding a touch of elegance. If you want to add something extra to your drink, our quick guide will ensure your glass is decorated with the right flourish. Lime – use for margaritas, mojitos and drinks containing a sour mix to enhance their taste. Lemon – typically used to garnish drinks such as an old fashioned or a whiskey sour, but also work well with martinis. Cherries – delicious with piña coladas, Mai Tais and whiskey-based drinks to add a sweet taste. They also go well with anything that uses a sour mix but give any glass a vibrant look. Olives – Best used for gin-based drinks or vodka martinis. Avoid using with fruity cocktails and make sure you use one or three olives as two is said to bring bad luck! #cocktails #mixologists #cocktails #cocktailgifts #gift #giftideas

Do you know the difference between a cocktail and a mocktail? • cocktail = is an alcoholic mixed drink. Most commonly, cocktails are either a single spirit or a combination of spirits, mixed with other ingredients such as juices, flavored syrups, tonic water, shrubs, and bitters. •mocktail = are non-alcoholic mixed drinks meant to replicate the presentation and complexity of craft cocktails, just without the alcohol. Good news to know that there's always an option to enjoy your vacations to the fullest! _____ #cocktail #mixology #drinks #cocktailbar #craftcocktails #happyhour #cocktailtime #drinkstagram #cocktailhour #travelfacts #comegoplay #universaltravelshow #travelportofgo #baroptions #vacationmode #lifestyle #luxuryvacation #familytime #summerfuntime #vacationtips

All of our cocktails come pre-mixed so they’re ready to shake, pour and enjoy. We take our mixology very seriously, which is why our drinks always comprise of three key components: Base – the spirit on which the cocktail is based such as rum, vodka or whisky. Modifier – the ingredient added to the base to give the drink character and tone down the potency. Popular examples include fruit juices, cream, vermouth and Champagne. Flavouring – these give the drink a finishing touch to enhance its taste and appearance. Bitters and syrups such as Grenadine are often used because of their taste and vibrant colours. #cocktails #mixologists #cocktails #cocktailgifts #gift #giftideas

The last batching video seemed to do great on all platforms, so there’s more where that came from;) Here’s another, entitled “How to Batch Cosmos for a Crowd” aka “how to not get stuck behind the bar all night”) with Cheeky Syrups and juices 😁 This recipe makes just over 20 drinks and is literally as simple as it looks. I used mandarin vodka but you can sub in alternate flavors or darker spirits (or non-alch) spirits if desired. You can also top with seltzer or sparkling wine if you’re feeling festive **though I recommend adding the sparkling to individual glasses to maintain the bubbles, NOT adding to the pitcher itself. Enjoy! #cocktails #mixology #batchology #cpg #beverage #beverageindustry #spirits #spiritsindustry #beveragealcohol #events #eventplanning #bartending #restaurants #fandb

Hi, my company, Sunshine Consulting, hosts Team-Building Cocktail and Mixology Experiences. Virtual and In-Person.
Ever wonder how bartenders get those cocktails bursting with fresh flavor? Well, folks, it's not always fancy syrups and loads of sugar. Today, I'm letting you in on a little secret: frozen fruit is your at-home cocktail BFF! Here's the magic: Natural sweetness: Ditch the sugar overload and let frozen fruit add a burst of sweetness without the artificial stuff. Intensified flavors: Frozen fruit concentrates its flavor, making your cocktails sing. Think juicy mango margaritas or vibrant berry mojitos. How to Use It? It's simple! Just throw a handful of frozen fruit (berries, mango, peaches - you name it!) into your shaker along with your favorite spirits, citrus, and sweetener. Shake it up for a frosty and flavorful masterpiece. Pro Tip: Use a tea strainer to catch unwanted fruit bits for extra fancy presentations. Now get mixing and impress your friends with your newfound cocktail knowledge! #cocktailsecrets #frozenfruitcocktails #athomebartender #refreshingdrinks #summervibes #healthyishcocktails #mixology #bartendersecrets #drsunshinesecrets #minneapolis #stpaul #minnesota #craftcocktails

It's hot out there! Make a Peach and Mandarin Orange Bellini for the perfect (surprisingly refreshing) summer cocktail. Don’t wait for fresh peach season - this cocktail can be easily made at home with #cannedpeaches! Ingredients: - 1 can of No Name Canned Peaches and Mandarins 796ml (one combined can), or another brand of canned peaches and canned mandarins 284ml. Cold cans are best. - 1 ice-cold 750ml bottle of Prosecco or Cava (sparkling Spanish wine). Instructions: - Blend in food processor - Add ice as desired - Gently mix in Prosecco or Cava Tips for controlling the bubbles: - Make sure that everything is cold: fruit puree, Prosecco/Cava, and, ideally, your flute glasses. - Open your Prosecco/Cava 10 to 15 minutes before you plan to pour the cocktails, keeping it refrigerated. This will reduce the foam, but still leave plenty of carbonation. - If you’re making several bellinis at once, combine measured amounts of the fruit puree and Prosecco in a glass wine carafe and gently stir. Fill the glasses in a few small pours to maintain the consistency of each cocktail.
