Leading our Essentials operations in North America with a strategic focus on safety, efficiency and value creation, Scott celebrates his 30th anniversary with Brenntag this month, marking an incredible journey of personal development, challenges and opportunities. As President for Brenntag Essentials in North America, he strives to drive our business forward through dedicated leadership and a commitment to excellence and focuses on delivering on our business’ “triple proposition.” Brenntag’s core values are not just principles to him, but the foundation of our interactions and decision-making processes in a complex and dynamic environment: “These core values guide us in creating value for our customers and suppliers, ensuring we remain a trusted and exceptional partner in the industry. As Director of Product Management in North America, Christine and her team focus on building supplier and product share strategies as well as managing and developing supplier relationships. Understanding market conditions, monitoring trends and collaborating closely with other teams within the company are key aspects of her role. From a product management perspective, Christine, who has been with Brenntag and predecessor companies for 32 years, shares three trends in the evolving chemical distribution market: “The significant trends include digitization, sustainability and global sourcing, all of which align with our strategic direction by enhancing market intelligence, fostering product innovation, and optimizing global sourcing to deliver differentiated value to Brenntag, our customers and suppliers.” As a strong believer in living up to corporate values, Christine explains: “To me, Care, Trust, Clarity & Excellence are intertwined. Without them we can’t be successful as individuals, as leaders or as a team. We win together when we support and trust each other, and everyone has clarity on our goals.
