TOPIC: You Must Be a True Christian Leader. Read: 1 Timothy3:1-21(NKJV) 3:1. This a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work.3:2. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach;3:3. #AnglicanCommunion

One of the greatest mistakes we have made as a people, as a nation, and even as the Church body is to allow people to have influence and leadership with no accountability for their decisions. Those who do not pay a price for being wrong never learn to do right - and often choose to do wrong because it benefits them in some way. Greater leadership and influence require greater accountability and transparency. David Hein in his review of "The Making of a Leader: The Formative Years of George C. Marshall" by Josiah Bunting III, makes note of the lack of coverage on Marshall's religious life and devotion which can be clearly seen through his virtues and decision making. Hein says, "For all its historical detail, this book often seems superficial in its treatment of its core themes. With respect to Marshall’s virtues, one misses a clear attempt to specify and to analyze precisely what these moral traits were and how they influenced his subsequent decisions. We hear much about Marshall’s character—a word that is often, inexplicably, rendered in quotation marks as “character”—and we read about his tenacity, will, resolution, concentration, and self-discipline, but apparently relevant virtues such as prudence, moral courage, temperance, and perseverance are left unexplored." TOPIC: Leadership Is Service Read: Mark 10:35-45(NKJV) 10:35. Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to Him, saying, “Teacher, we want You to do for us whatever we ask.”10:36. And He said to them, “What do you want Me to do for you?”10:37. They said to Him, “Grant us that we may sit, one on Your right hand and the other on Your left, in Your glory.”10:38. #AnglicanCommunion

In a culture where fear often influences our decisions, it is beneficial to grasp the true essence of courage and why it is in short supply. This month, we will listen to insights from Patrick Lencioni, the writer of The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, The Advantage, and The 6 Types of Working Genius, as he delves into the meaning of courage and how we can embody its three distinct forms—individual courage, public courage, and relational courage. When faced with challenges, some leaders within the Christian community believe they should bunker down, withdraw, and isolate themselves. However, what if, instead of building barriers, we establish missions to promote Jesus' counter cultural principles? Rather than succumbing to a mindset of fear or judgment, we can boldly live out our mandate to be agents of change and illumination. Some Christian leaders refrain from taking action due to fear of the repercussions, while others exhibit a legalistic stance that results in reckless behavior. Both approaches are counterproductive. Our goal should be to demonstrate both courage and discernment. #BaaM #C12Forums

How Bible Beliefs Shaped America’s Founding Fathers In a time when being a Bible-believing Christian often draws criticism, it’s enlightening to revisit the words of the very founders and leaders who shaped our nation. From George Washington’s belief in the indispensable role of God and the Bible in governance to Theodore Roosevelt’s valuation of Biblical knowledge over a college education, and Thomas Jefferson’s view on Christianity’s unique ability to transform hearts – these historical insights remind us of the profound impact of faith on our country’s legacy. Let’s appreciate and continue this rich tradition of intertwining faith and leadership. #BibleInAmerica #FaithAndLeadership #HistoricalWisdom #ChristianLegacy #FoundingFathers #FaithInGovernance #SpiritualHeritage”
