FOB Board Member Larry Orwin is taking on the ultimate challenge: the Badwater 135 ultramarathon through Death Valley's unforgiving terrain. Despite facing setbacks in his first attempt, Larry is back with an unwavering determination to conquer this grueling race. He knows firsthand the importance of pushing through adversity, a lesson that resonates deeply with our scholars. Just like Larry, our scholars encounter obstacles on their journey. School isn't always easy, and adversity is a part of the learning process. But Larry's resilience serves as a shining example for our entire community. He's proof that with grit and perseverance, anything is possible. Join us on July 22nd as we cheer on Larry during his epic journey. With every step he takes, he's not just running a race—he's paving the way for the future of our Woodland Hills gymnasium.
