(- : noFoe : -) Reflections on Tue, 16jul24 🌄😀🌅 Good Morning 🙏🏽😀🙏🏽 I'm like a snake sleeping on a rock. I won't bother you unless you poke a stick at me. ~ Harlan Ellison Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some hire public relations officers. ~ Daniel J. Boorstin RELEVANT OBSERVANCE BY THE WORLD TODAY (theme / information / purpose "tip"): 01. World Snake Day (‘Snake’ comes from the Old English word ‘Snaca.’ The reptile is thought to have come from terrestrial lizards around 174.1 million to 163.5 million years ago. Snakes have been mentioned in ancient mythologies and are integral to various religions. For instance, in the Bible, Satan took the form of a snake in the Garden of Eden. And it was due to the snake that Eve consumed the forbidden apple and was banished. Snakes tend to have a negative connotation. A lot of people are scared of snakes. Due to the fear of snakes, there is often conflict that arises between snakes and humans and this conflict can lead to public health challenges such as snakebite. However, snakes are incredible creatures, and they are so crucial to the world in which we live. Snakes are highly effective predators and play a vital role in maintaining the balance of nature in each realm. Snakes are found on every continent except Antarctica and occur in various habitats. Snakes rely on the environment to regulate their body temperature. They spend as long in the sun as needed to get warm, and when they become too warm, they find shade to cool off. They are generally not aggressive unless they are hunting or need to defend themselves. They shed their skin three to six times a year. Snakes have been neglected in conservation and education initiatives, and due to their unpopularity in the animal world, their essential roles in the ecosystem are rarely communicated. Therefore, the day raises awareness about snakes and ensures that people learn about the importance of these reptiles. #WorldSnakeDay) 02. World Public Relations [PR] Day (The day recognises and celebrates public relations and communications as a profession and builds a unified global agenda to make the world understand and utilise PR efficiently and effectively. PR must ensure consistency in raising awareness and draw inclusive and integrated communication strategies to build solid and compelling Brand Awareness of the Corporate Image and Ethics of the Company. The day is the birthday of one of the pioneers and founders of PR, Ivy Lee, born on July 16, 1877. Lee became the father of modern public relations methods. Lee was a huge proponent of open and frank communication with the press. He represented the Rockefellers, the American Red Cross, and other famous names. This year’s PR Day theme is “The Future of Public Relations in a Changing World.” #worldprday) Make it a Wonderful Day 👍🏽😀👍🏽 ------- Are you a (- : noFoe : -) ? n = nation / national / native o = opting F = Friendship o = over e = enmity -------

Urgently Appealing for PR Support to Save Amboseli Elephants 🚨 Urgent Call for Help! 🚨 Our majestic Amboseli elephants are under threat, and we need your expertise to save them! We are urgently seeking a passionate and experienced PR company to help us develop and amplify our campaign to stop the hunting of these gentle giants when they migrate into northern Tanzania. 🌍 Why This Matters: The Amboseli elephants, the longest studied elephants on earth, are known for their impressive tusks and vital roles in their ecosystem and social integrity. They are facing the threat of heartless hunters who view their magnificent teeth as ivory trophies to adorn their mantelpiece half a world away. This not only endangers their rare super Tusker population but also risks the loss of a cultural, genetic and natural heritage that is irreplaceable. 💔 The Stakes Are High: Cultural Heritage: Communities risk losing an integral part of their cultural identity. Tourism Revenue: The loss of these iconic elephants threatens tourism industries and local economies. Global Conservation Efforts: The hunting of these elephants undermines international conservation initiatives. 🎯 Our Goal: Educate the world about the threat to these elephants, mobilize global support, and call on Tanzanian authorities to stop the hunts. Already five elephants have been gunned down in legal hunts. Five more licenses are believed to be issued soon. These giants could be wiped out in just a few years. We need your help to create a media storm that cannot be ignored. 🙏 How You Can Help: We need a PR company that care. 📧 Contact Us now!! Inbox me or Email: info@wildlifedirect.org
