Four years ago I tripped into yet another opportunity, building One Day Agency. As with every other I came across, I said yes. Why? The learning opportunity was just immense to not take it as with all the previous ones. And that's how I got here today after a few countries and roles as a leader of an advertising agency: I focus on learning a ton and I care a ton. Over 30% of my weekly time is purely reading and absorbing content. And applying it, testing it, daily. In addition to some "hacks": - Change jobs regularly: you'll maximise the number of people you meet, the knowledge of each environment you can get access to, your financial potential, and so on unlocking more opportunities and knowledge. - Plan ahead: pick jobs that enable you the skills you will need in 2 years. Want to be the head of the department? Go into a job that will teach you all the knowledge needed to run that department. If that department has multiple silos, you guessed it, you'll need to learn all the silos meaning at times different jobs/roles. - Acquire self-awareness: talk to people openly about your shortfalls and seek advice, self-awareness is the most powerful tool for your personal development and career. - Open criticism: how are you going to do something better if you or your environment doesn't allow sharing ideas and criticism? You won't, you'll be average. - Don't fall into money traps: some life decisions such as buying a house or high-paying sales jobs are nothing but traps. I know, polarising. Great for the short term, really bad for the long term. - Invest in absorbing content, in learning, constantly, every day. You'd be surprised what 15 minutes a day does for you from unlocking new conversations or winning the pitch. Subscribe to relevant people on your phone. What are your hacks and advice to anyone looking to move the needle on their career?

Cakes are the best delivery method for data traffic reports. Easier for the staff to digest the results.

Especially high purchases in the automotive space require a reliable BNPL solution which is able to process transaction with high values. Zaver's integration into Verendus software solution enables car-dealers to sell cars in seconds without any friction, regardless the size of the transaction #Zaver #BNPL #automotive #dealerships #mobilepayment #payment #IAA #caravan #camping
Thank you for two fantastic days at the MC fair in Älvsjö, alongside Verendus. A great collaboration that empowers merchants in the leisure industry to provide their customers with better and more flexible payment options.

I never imagined this day would arrive. Celebrating a decade as a business owner feels surreal. To many, ten years might seem like an eternity. Yet, for me, the time has flown by so swiftly that the anniversary almost slipped my mind. AMOK has been nothing short of a miracle in my life. It represents a series of firsts: my first job post-college, my initial foray into business, and my debut into the creative visual realm. Entering the film and video industry, much less owning a business, was never in my plans. Yet, here we are! The inception of AMOK was borne out of pure curiosity and, admittedly, a heavy touch of naivety. Alongside my co-founders, Caleb Quek, and Sean. we embarked on this journey as clueless, penniless dreamers, fuelled by nothing but a shared vision. We are now further boosted by new partners Jiaxin Zheng and Ted Pang, who are bringing in new energy and ideas to the organisation. AMOK began with zero external funding, no loans from family or friends, and scant savings in our accounts—a situation that amusingly hasn't changed much. However, the kindness of individuals like Esmond Wee, who offered us three desks in his studio space rent-free for six months, became our lifeline. This generosity, extended by family, friends, team members, clients, and more, is the bedrock upon which AMOK has stood the test of a decade. Our team remains deliberately small, a choice we made to preserve the quality of our work and the well-being of our people. We never aspired to be the largest entity in the film & video production market. Instead, we prioritised creating a work environment that is enjoyable and fulfilling for everyone involved. I personally believe this is the way to creating a better final product. Happiness in our line of work is not a constant, and the path has been anything but smooth. The year 2023 posed significant challenges for creative firms, including ours. Despite the hardships, we've strived to humanize the video production industry, notorious for its demanding conditions. Our commitment remains unwavering: to foster a healthy, non-toxic work environment. Because what value does exceptional work hold if the process is marred by negativity? The road ahead is uncertain, yet I'm filled with optimism. The coming decade presents an opportunity to build a safer, more sustainable ecosystem for creative entities to develop and thrive. My heartfelt thanks to each one of you for being an integral part of this incredible adventure. Your support has allowed me and my team the freedom to be bold—to truly run AMOK.
This month marks a significant moment for us. We are 10 :) A huge thank you to all who have been so instrumental to our existence. From our families, team members (past and current), partners, clients, vendors, to our staunch supporters—each one of you has played a pivotal role in shaping AMOK into what it is today. Thank you for being a part of our ever evolving story :)

Great to see that the growing success of Tiney is in fact far from tiny. There are some impressive BIG numbers in here. Apart from the 4,449 children benefitting with a better educational start in life, their parents give a satisfaction rating of 9.8 /10. This is a BIG achievement few businesses will ever get near. In addition, Tiney is the only corner of the UK childcare market which is thriving and growing. It is the only organisation which is actively recruiting and growing the number of childminders and actively supporting them to succeed and provide a brilliant start in life to children. I would contrast this success with the frankly abject failure of the UK government and department of education in tackling the real issues in the childcare market which are basically a terrible shortage of places. Instead of seeking to grow the number of providers or to stem the flow of childminders leaving and nurseries closing, the government have done exactly the opposite. Instead of addressing supply they are subsidising the demand - the price to parents. They are providing tax subsidies to parents to reduce the cost of childcare to them - doubling taxpayer spend from £4 to an eyewatering £8 billion each year. This will be welcome to many parents who will spend less as a result but it won’t make it any easier to find a place for their child - their bigger problem. Unfortunately the subsidy is less than the actual cost of providing places so many nurseries have said they will have to close down as it will no longer be viable for them to operate on that basis. The result ? Even fewer childcare places, more frustrated parents and a vast amount of taxpayer money wasted solving the wrong problem. Hopefully one day a government minister will stay in post long enough to understand the issues and tackle the right problem. In the meantime - GO TINEY! Brett Wigdortz OBE Rhiannon Evans-Young 🚀 John Newbold
Really proud of everything the team at Tiney has achieved this year. Big year of growth, huge impact and more to come 💪 Take a look 👀 https://lnkd.in/eChp5cKM

The gap we bridge excites me!!!! This happened a while back and was wondering when we'd share... this news is music to my ears. Those in this space understand how important absorption is. And finding a perfect host employer is key... We deliberately partner with small businesses rather than big corporates. We understand what they are trying to build and we want to grow it with them.. We could easily collaborate with well-established companies, but it will sell out our mission... Because we are clear on this one thing: we Grow People. Grow Businesses! One intern at a time. One business at a time. It's a marathon this, not a sprint 😉 Did you get to listen to this conversation: https://bit.ly/4bgXqNI Care to hear your thoughts...
Congratulations on becoming employees ...Lebohang & Katlego from our 2nd cohort 🎉 🎊 🥂 . Kudos to our host employers who see value in our work... For this reason, we grow businesses by growing people... Perfect combo.

I get asked a lot of questions about "What does Radar Promotions mean?" - "What separates you from everyone else in the promo space?" - and in 1 post & picture, Kristina perfectly summarized it... In a world full of #LogoSlappers, our team takes a diffferent approach: The first question is "What HAVEN'T we seen with this client's logo on it before?" - The second question is "Should our clients logo be on this?" We are constantly striving to push the envelope of branding, while protecting the brand guidelines but also taking a #FreshTake on the brand, with new, innovative products & imprinting technologies.
Over here at the Y being the coolest Executive Director ever, passing out Y jibbetz to staff- big THANK you to Ryan Paules for the extra goodies he put in with our last order. The best service and Y products around!
