So - it's a wrap! 18 amazing years are coming to a close. These past few weeks have given me the opportunity to reflect on my journey, from a conference room in Tel Aviv at a startup overlooking the beach to an office of a Fortune 500 company overlooking Park Avenue. I could certainly write a novel about how financial information has evolved since the 2000's, the skyrocket of data available, big data concepts, use case development and entitlements, the ethics of AI, cloud migrations... yawn, I'm starting to put myself to sleep here... so I won't. I can also talk about career development, embracing new challenges, the cruciality of networking, always be learning... but you probably know all of that already. What I want to talk about is gratitude, something we (or at least I) forget too often, but these life transitions are great reminders so here's my list: - grateful for the leaders at SuperD and at ICE who took a chance on me and hired me and gave me opportunities to grow my career - grateful for the opportunity to work with some insanely intelligent and talented people on pretty much every continent - grateful for so many friendships among my colleagues, vendors, partners and customers that will last a lifetime - grateful for the heartbreaks and disappointments, both personal as well as professional, for those make us appreciate the good stuff even more - grateful for every wrinkle that I acquired from the picture taken in 2006 to the picture taken yesterday, because that means I LIVED! - grateful for my family, 'nuff said - grateful for the opportunity to take everything I've learned and experienced professionally and apply it to my next adventure - grateful for all the amazing women I've met along the way who've inspired me, made me laugh, gave me hope, supported me and allowed me to support them. Too many to list here but if you're reading this, you know who you are! My next chapter to be announced shortly, stay tuned... #gratitude #ICE #SuperDerivatives #marketdata #womensupportingwomen
