I have Been The Project Manager for This Amazing Project That Has Gained National Attention!
In the grand tapestry of life, every thread tells a story and every stitch connects us all. At ‘I Want To Mow Your Lawn’, we have realized the beauty of connections, the serendipity of being introduced to nonprofits like Heroic Gardens, which led us to Rep. Carol Kazeem’s office. Together, we embarked on a noble endeavor this October, restoring a historic cemetery - a final resting place for African-American veterans who sacrificed for our freedoms but faced prejudice even in death. Despite the challenges, the spirit of unity and collaboration shines brightly. With invaluable assistance from our U.S. Navy personnel, a heartfelt response from Milwaukee Tool providing top-notch landscaping equipment and PPE, and the serendipitous connection with ‘ Green Lawn Fertilizer’ company (thanks to Project EverGreen) – every piece fell into place. As you can see from Nicole’s string of videos, the journey is ongoing. But with every hand that joins, every blade of grass that’s trimmed, we remember and honor the souls resting there, ensuring they get the respect they deserve. Our actions today are more than just mowing a lawn or clearing an overgrown cemetery; it’s a testament to the strength of community, the magic of collaborations, and the belief that by lifting each other, we rise together. We’re all intricately linked, and by playing our part, no matter how small, we contribute to a bigger purpose. So, let’s be those helpers, those connectors. If you feel the call, come join us. Whether you have an hour or a day, your contribution can make a lasting impact. Reach out, and let’s make history together. 🌿 #UnityInAction #ConnectedByPurpose #Heroes #LookForTheHelpers #GoodNews
