Yesterday I attended probably the best Forum Club of the Palm Beaches luncheon of the year with keynote speaker Doris Kearns Goodwin storytelling about her recent historic book written with her husband Dick Goodwin, An Unfinished Love Story. Ms. Kearns Goodwin recounted her time writing this book with Dick based on 300 boxes of historical papers Dick had kept while having a front row seat in the Kennedy & Johnson presidential administrations as a chief speech writer. An amazing and inspiring presentation. Some of our Leadership Palm Beach County Class of 2020 were in attendance, some not pictured. Nice to see and have John Maxwell photobomb! Best takeaway: as you get older, share your life experiences with your children & grandchildren so that the history and legacy continue. I can’t wait to delve into this book. I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Kearns Goodwin previously 8 years ago with General Martin E. Dempsey. #ItsaGoldfarb Thank you to photographer Donna Goldfarb! ❤️
