The more successful something is, the more improvements it needs. Dashboards was our most successful new feature in Equals. And it because of that, it's also been the area we've gotten the most feedback and requests. This week we took a big step forward improving dashboards. We launched over the course of the week: 1) Major design improvements. Dashboards are a heck of a lot nicer to view now. 2) Improvements to our AI summaries, and elements like cells which now include comparisons. 3) Embeds! Embed a dashboard in Notion, Coda, and any other tool that supports embeds. Here's a little walk through of me working with a dashboard to run a startup. It's got an ARR build, a funnel view, product engagement stats, and financials. All in the same place. Fully automated. Built in a spreadsheet. ⚡️

Have you ever tried a new service and ended up asking, 'What's so special about this?' It’s often about how clearly it shows what’s great about this service from the start. Thinking about this, I realized we might not have been clear enough with our onboarding, making new users see 🍍 AI Website Builder as just one more option. This hit me when a friend, new to 🍍, tried it out. She liked how easy it was but didn’t see what makes us different. That was a big moment for me. Every business should see from day one how a service can really change their online game, not just be another tool. I am working on making our onboarding not just a welcome message but a deep dive into what makes 🍍 stand out. It’s about connecting the dots between joining and seeing the big benefits. #buildinpublic

Building products is literally the greatest thing ever, but then you get your first user and you're stuck having to deal with… users. If you do want to build something for actual humans to use, dealing with those users and their feedback is really the whole ballgame. And it's a huge stress point, because you want to spend hours on every piece of actionable feedback and really connect with your customers, but the more time you do that, the less time you have building the damn thing. Understanding feedback is critical to build great products. Not only it helps figure out what to ship but it’s also the best way to develop product sense and build loyalty with customers. Yet feedback tends to be scattered in many different places and product teams don’t have time to deal with this mess. Enter Cycle: the fastest way to capture feedback and share customer insights – without the busywork. For many product folks out there, manually processing feedback used to take several hours every week. Now it's all on autopilot with Cycle. Set up your automations for each feedback source (Zoom, Meet, Slack, HubSpot, Intercom, Zapier, etc), and voilà – the AI will take care of the rest. Cycle has raised $6M from boldstart ventures, basecase capital, 20VC, SV Angel, and 60 operator angels. They’re currently building the first self-organizing feedback hub but their vision is broader: they want to become the reference for all things product management, the same way Figma became the reference for all things design. For this edition of Notorious, Cycle’s CEO Mehdi Boudoukhane shares Cycle’s approach to AI as well as his thoughts on PLG and data models. He also offers to send a printed copy of their Product Manifesto to any Notorious subscriber: just ask! Congrats to (PLG + AI) companies on your recent fundraises: Composable Prompts, Nurturev, Heyflow, Ideogram, Photoroom and Glean! https://lnkd.in/gC4Y-kMH

Founder & CEO @ Vendor Centric | Strategic Advisor | Building a Vendor Management Community to Get Stuff Done Together
Has anyone tried out Perplexity? It's an AI-powered search tool that just raised ~$74M in funding from some major investors. It has a very simple UX. Two cool features include the ability to go directly to the information sources and to ask follow-up questions to refine the search. I was curious to see what it would generate regarding a trend we are watching here at Vendor Centric - how AI will be used in vendor management in 2024. While not perfect - not too bad. 👇 If anyone has been using this or similar tools for search, please share any tips or lessons learned. This train is moving very, very fast.

Notion is a dream tool for anyone appreciates productivity and organization in work/life tasks/projects. The flexibility it offers in having different types of content (block) like tables, boards, image, lists, video and combine those all with clean interface (and AI) is magical. With all those, comes the need of integrations and automation. Hence the need for API understandably is very much needed (and top requested as stated in their blog). Notion released their API after 5 years from their launch. I’ll go through what it takes for such a business to launch their API. #strategy #productsrategy #business #datadrivendecisions #venturebuilding #process #businessprocess

🌟 Introducing Sinego: Transforming Ideas Into Impact with AI-Powered Insights We're thrilled to unveil Sinego: a design thinking app, powered by AI, designed to revolutionize how businesses approach strategy. Research shows that 95% of businesses and startups fail due to a lack of research. You can't satisfy a customer you don't know, and you can't into a market without knowing your customer. Developing a business strategy using design thinking has traditionally been a lengthy and costly process, often taking up to three months and costing as much as $1,000,000 for a PDF. Sinego changes that by providing human-centered insights and enabling smarter, more effective strategies in a matter of hours, at a fraction of the cost. Our team has spent the past eight months developing Sinego, drawing on our extensive agency experience, our deep understanding of the design thinking process, and our extensive research into the practical applications of AI over the past two years. We're committed to providing a practical, powerful, and accessible solution that empowers businesses to move forward with confidence. This confidence stems from Sinego's ability to enable companies to make data-driven decisions, drive meaningful results, and deliver user-centered strategic insights. We invite you to explore our website (https://sinego.ai/) to learn more about the inspiration behind Sinego and how it can transform the way you understand and interact with your market. If you're ready to experience the power of AI-driven insights firsthand, we'd be delighted to provide you with a personal demo. For the past year, our team has been heads down building autonomous agents to streamline all kinds of workflows. But one area where we've gotten extremely good results in, is research. We've developed powerful ways to automate in-depth, complex research extremely well, and our users have given us a ton of great feedback. So we decided to double down and spend more time in this space. We've built a brand new product focused entirely on research - it's a way to do research on vast amounts of external web data all at once. But it's still an early idea, and we'd love to validate it and get some real-world feedback. Do you do a lot of research in your day-to-day work? Does your business rely heavily on research to make decisions? Are you a knowledge worker who's always digging for insights online? Do you have zero time and need to optimize how you access and analyze data? If any of those sound like you, this product might be for you. We're not ready for an official launch just yet, but we're at a point where we want to start bringing in beta testers and getting quick feedback and thoughts. If leveraging AI to automate and streamline your research workflow gets you excited, I'd love to hear your take! Maybe even join our closed beta. Feel free to drop a comment below or slide into my DMs to chat about it!

Today we’re opening access to Adept Experiments 🧪, a new way to explore the technology we are developing at Adept. Each experiment is a self-contained mini-tool or demo that showcases a part of our underlying tech. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/erg2jH5B The first Experiment we're rolling out is Workflows ⚡️ A foundational skill for an AI teammate is to 1) quickly learn a task from a user and 2) reliably run it. Workflows are designed around this philosophy. So... what can workflows do? Workflows can do repetitive tasks, turn unstructured data into structured data, trivially hop between tools, or even teach a novice user to navigate the tool like an expert. The example video is a workflow that can turn unstructured data into structured data— Adept opens attached invoices, extracts information, and moves it into accounts payable software. Workflows is powered by ACT-2, a multimodal model fine-tuned from the Fuyu family and optimized for UI understanding, knowledge worker data comprehension, and action taking. Because Workflows is an Experiment, it often requires some careful prompting to make it do what you want. Some sites work better than others. Stay tuned for more Experiments and research updates as we continue to iterate. Get on the waitlist at https://lnkd.in/e7kThAAH. We're onboarding folks on a rolling basis. Excited to see what you build! 🚀
