I'm really proud to see the great work our team is doing to address the need for attainable housing featured in MFE. This is such an important issue and there is such a shortage of housing supply across the US. What Andy Mest, Scott Berka and the team are doing is really exciting and I hope you'll read this article to learn more about the challenge, our modular construction factory, and our new Ltd. brand: https://lnkd.in/g7aKv-hf We've made a lot of progress so far, and there's much more to come.

Amazing read and exciting future ahead for the Ltd. communities! I loved the part where you said, “When I started Greystar, I didn’t set out to be the biggest operator of apartments in the U.S., but we did set out to be the best…the numbers came.” Such a powerful sentance 🙌🏽😁

Mr Faith , I want you to know how I was treated by manager at thar time Kristen Krutchfieled and Assustant manager Alyssa Warren. O went to open house at ur Overtureabq in Sumner if 2020 bc U had bought home with my son and he was so abusive to me I found your Abq location on line. ANd went back another time and paid thev1000.00 non refundable deposit. And assistant manager Alyssa Warren showed me some very nice 1 bedroom apts and I picked the apt lI wanted to rent. It was beautiful light and airy and told ms Warren thus us aot I wanted to rent. But even before I moved in there was already a tenant living there who they switched the apt U chose and Iwoukd be living under thus tenant in 313 Victoria Pergula. And LEASE said NO BABY SITTING ON FULL TIME BASIS AND ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING CIGARETTES OR EVEN MEDICAL MARIJUANA ANYWHETE ON THE PROPERTY EXCEPT NEAR DOG PARK OR YOU HAD TO WALK TO CORNER IF PROOERTY OUTSUDE OF PARKING LOT. BUT Managers knew and allowed Ms Pergula to babysit her 2 tr old granddaughter on a regular basis and little girl woke me up at 4:30am everyday I put up with this for months and one day I went to head manager just to ask Ms Pergoi

Yes! I lived in Austin, TX on 3 separate occasions. Home prices and the cost of rent has increased exponentially. You either pay higher rent to live closer to work or live further out where rents are affordable resulting in more time spent in traffic and the cost of gas. I lived 30 miles from work because it’s what was affordable. I left home 2 hrs early to avoid traffic. Not what I consider to be a good quality of life. Affordable housing closer to city centers is impossible to find and very much needed. I hope these are not built just in the suburbs.

Solving the affordable and attainable housing problem in America is a worthwhile goal. We are actively seeking opportunities to contribute time and resources to larger organizations who are leading the effort. Thanks for sharing this article.

My daughter, a student at UCSC and three of her friends signed a lease at a Greystar property in Santa Cruz, CALI. Due to the "mistake" of one of the Greystar property managers (Hill Top Apartments) we have been told that they cannot honor the lease for the apartment that we rented and are offering a very poor substitute at a higher rental rate. How is this helping students have attainable housing???? Who can assist us Greystar????

I live in Everleigh Cool Springs,Franklin ,Tn . I have written before. Contrary to what Greystar says all is not well. We have a poorly responsive administrator. The upkeep on the building has not been kept up. Landscape looks terrible, resident hallways, porches, building windows have not been cleaned in over 6 months. The movie theater has been nonfunctional for almost 5 months& our administrator has decided not to meet with us as a group any longer. She is resistant to suggestions & pretty much makes everything a budget proble. Which is way we still do not have permanent replacement maintenance person. There is more! Sinc my wife & I are really happy here & plan to stay for a long time I was reluctant to say much. But it does not seem that any change is coming. No one from Greystar responds. Maybe you can help find the right person to correspond with me,please. Do not forward this to our administrator as I can sided this private correspondence. Hello Bob, I HOPE YOU READ THIS!! It has come to my attention as a Real Estate Professional that one of your properties my cousin lives in which they pay rent faithfully every month recently had they're 7-year-old passed away due to unforeseen circumstances in now dealing with your property management neglecting their needs and amenities as promised to provide. They have an ongoing issue that your property management has swept under the rug... sorry to say this but I was deeply disappointed also to find Google reviews of your apartments is tagged with countless tenants having the same issue of not being able to do their laundry keeping their children clean due to the washers not washing, staying filled with standing water and 1980's refurbished dryers that are being pawned off as new. I'm writing this out of disappointment because looking int your company's core values it doesn't align with the actual service delivered. Please contact me directly so we can seriously get this worked out and fixed because I am afraid if we can't one will have no choice but to make it known to everyone publicly affecting the credibility and value that your business supposedly claims to provide. I do hope you able to give me a call at 602-753-6865.
