COO at rhum.hr | Supporting transformative leaders and building diverse and impactful organizations | 🇨🇦 | 🇺🇸 | 🇪🇺

What an electric and amazing night. Thank you to Zoë Curnoe, Joshua Nilson, and Clea Arrieta for sharing their wisdom and insights on creating a brighter future for the Creative Tech Industry! I loved seeing founders and creators coming together to rebuild and explore. People believe in a brighter future for the industry and it starts with sharing knowledge, a refocus on more startup mentality, working together, and building more diverse, accountable leadership teams. The days of the "bro" culture are ending. People need to know the company has direction and a profitability plan. As Josh noted, If you keep seeing the same leaders at the table, BUILD A BIGGER TABLE. Create programs that people need. As Zoë mentioned, ASK. Listen to your team and build up with care, weaving your values and DEI goals through your teams. Huge thank you to Jennifer McPherson for doing an incredible job moderating and Kristina and William for organizing and ensuring our event went smoothly. Finally, a huge thank you to Boast for sponsoring and helping to make this important event possible. Stay tuned for more engaging conversations and community connections from rhum!
